Has any one here read The Belgariad and it Brother, I forget the name,? I have read them all 3 times! That inclulds:
Belgarath the Sorcerer,
Polgara the Sorceress,
The Rivan Codex,
And nearly all his, and his wifes, books
I have yet to read:
The Hidden Ones,
This one is the last in his series either called:
The Tamuli,
or
Something else...
neway what are your thoughts?

They are about a boy named Garion, who has to kill a God named Torak! He and his companions: Silk, Belgarath, Barak, Polgara, Ce'Nedra, and more, set out to find The Orb of Aldur and Kill Torak... I f you read it, you will find somethings similar to LOTR. But then again, all fanticies(sp) are based on Tolkien's masterpiece!!!!! :D

the rivan codex hasn't arrived in my country yet...and i've been waiting for years! the series are: the belgariad, the malloreon, the elenium, the tamuli, and some more thick books like belgarath the sorcerer and polgara the sorceress and other fiction like high hunt and losers. *takes deep breath* haven't read his wife's book, though, except their joint project, polgara. they're cool. i had fun with those books, and i do recommend you guys to read them.
