Anyone else listen to any CDs inspired by Tolkien? I mean, besides the movie soundtracks! Personally, I've been addicted to David Arkenstone's "Music Inspired by Middle Earth" lately, and I'm thinking about getting Glass Hammer's Middle Earth Album (though I'm not sure about it yet...)
Anyone else? :)

i like Arkenstone's music :) , esp. the gray havens...it's really magical. i expect they needed great symphony orchestra in the soundtracks, but imo Arkenstone is more...elvish :elfqueen: lol

Yeah, the havens is a great song, even though I always find myslef wishing that it was about twice as long!

If anyone mentions Leonard Nimoy singing "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" I have a loaded tommy-gun and I'm not afraid to use it.
I know this is probably a bit too obvious for such how-brow conversation but I quite liked the Enya part of the FOTR soundtrack. Just a thought....

Ballad of Bilbo is funny! It's on a dr. demento CD, I don't think it was ever meant to be serious, so that makes it okay.

Download Enya's "Lothlorien." She wrote it before the movies and it is BEAUTIFUL!
