I was curious as to if anyone knows if there is any production whatsoever of the elvish weapon used by the first line of the Elven army in the prologue that looks like a bilateral sword. It has 2 blades at each end 1-2 feet long and the "handle" is between the 2 blades and it is around 2-3 feet long. I really like it and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. If so, thanks a lot!

Actually, it only has one blade, though it does look deceptive in the moive. It is the same sword that the elves use in the battle of Helm's Deep in The Two Towers. United Cutlery has this sword on their "to do" list, but have not announced any sort of time frame as to when they will be releasing the sword.

Damn! lol that's a big surprising in the way the Elves use it in the prologue to Fellowship as you see the blade on the top and they swing it back so the bottom cuts up to the top, seems like a 2nd blade would be necessary unless they were intending to just knock out the orc, meh. I hope they make a varient where it's double bladed =)

Thanks a lot for telling me.
