O.k this is reallt annoying me cause someone mentioned a possible Gondor theme in FOTR and I can't find that thread anywhere, so forgive for starting a new one but I have to comment.

I looked last night at the scene where Boromir talks to Aragorn in Lothlorien (just before the mirror of Galadriel scene) and there definitely is a bit of music not on the soundtrack and I have to say that I love it. It sounds very noble and, if used in ROTK, should restore Gondor's glory :) Can you imagine wide panning shots of the White City celebrating the defeat of Sauron with that bit of music blaring out full blast :grin:

Anyone else found it?

I'll have to go watch t again cos i can't rememeber the music from that scene....be back later to comment! lol

I think you mean the tune also played at the Council as Borimir is saying, 'by the blood of our people are your lands kept safe', but I'm not sure. If so, it is a wonderful theme, and I hope that we hear more of it.

I watched the extended edition again last night but with the post production crew commentary. And Howard Shore said that the music heard when they approach the Argonath is a Gondor theme :thumbs:

I like The violin in Rohan's theme. All of Howard Shore's music ROCKS! or whispers I guess would be a better word. Whatever.

Well it does doesn't it? I guess the main theme marches, but whatever. Hey have any of you guys heard "Requiem for a dream"? It was in the TT preview, but they never put it in the soundtrack. I love that song...it's intense.
