You will be given a phrase or quote. Choose a letter, and our lovely assistant will turn them over as they're called. First person to solve gets to set the next puzzle.

Rules are simple:




One letter per person per day, but you can solve anytime.

If the phrase is in a different language, it must be made known.

Puzzles can be as short or as long as desired - keep it manageable, though.

Hints can be given at the discretion of the person setting the phrase. Flagrant bribing is encouraged.

i like the scene where Frodo decides what he has to do... It started from seeing everywhere up on Amon Hen and then in the movie it has him remember what Gandalf told him which was really poignant. When Sam catches up with him and almost drowns in the attempt to catch him, it's so touching when Frodo decides for Sam to go with him even though he's sure that it can possibly be a journey into death. From the book the dialogue goes like this: =)

Frodo-- "Of all the confounded nuisances you are the worst, Sam!"
Sam--"Oh, Mr. Frodo, that's hard! That's hard, trying to go without me and all. If i hadn't guessed right, where would you be now?"
Frodo--"Safely on my way."
Sam --"Safely! All alone and without me to help you? I couldn't have borne it, it'd have been the death of me."
