Favourite LOTR theme 3

I have had to split this up into more than one thread.
There are many different music themes in the movies. By themes I mean tunes which occur in accordance to certain characters or places.

Gollum: This is a very wily, yet smooth theme, played at most mentions of Gollum in FOTR.

Rivendell: In the same style of 'Lothlorien', this is another elven theme.

Amon Hen: This tune was so catchy that I consider it to be a theme.

Last March of the Ents: Possibly my favourite theme of all. Though maybe not repeated as much as the others listed, it is so beautiful that I had to include it. It is played as the Ents march towards Isengard.

Other: There are themes that haven't been mentioned in any three of these threads!

I have thought of a theme that I have not listed. It's not my favourite, but it is very good:
Shadowfax: A minor theme, when we first see Shadowfax, and in a very small portion of when Gandalf and the Rohirrim are riding in.

The ents just annoy me. I like the Rivendell theme tho, especially in many meetings!

I ABSOLUTELY love the Last March of the Ents. It sends shivers down my spine...

I picked Amon Hen, and Other: I love the "Foundations of Stone" theme.

I love the Foundations of Stone theme, too. It perfectly sets the tone for the beginning of the movie! :thumbs:

Question: Is the "Ents" theme the same music that is playing when Théoden says to Aragorn, "Let this be the hour when we draw swords together"? (you know right before they charge out of the Hornburg?) Does anybody know? I think it is, but I'd like some confirmation, if anybody knows. ;)

I think so. It is played when Gimli goes up to the horn at the top.

Okay, great! Everbody kept talking about how great the "Ents theme" was, but I didn't see it listed on my CD! Confusion over. Thanks, Saruman. :thumbs:

i like Concerning Hobbits (and the "In Dreams theme") and Forth Eorlingas... also the Trailer song for TTT is awesome ;)

but i really like the whole soundtrack...(i overplayed it so much that my roommate's sick of it)lol

I like the Last March of the Ents, and Gollum's Song (of that's his "theme"). The first just sounds so...sad and determined, their last march in war. *sniff*

And Gollum's song is so sad, yet you can hear Stinker in the words...

i don't know that's a good question... she just likes rap and other types of music more :p

but i can listen to LOTR every day and night =)
(not to mention reading it/dling pics of it/ writing about it....)
