Though i have little to to spend here i just had to post this.
B.G is another Tolkien metal band [power metal - very melodic and lyrical - of course there are fast songs too]
They are very famous and well recognised.....plus the guys are very cool hard working normal people - no matter all the fame and i think that there isn't anybody who hates or doesnt like them and their work or at least those songs.
The bard's song - In the forest
The bard's song - The hobbit
Lord of the rings
i recommend the albums :
Nightfall in middle earth
imaginations from the other side
somewhere far beyond
Tales from the twilight world
Follow the blind
[not in any particular preference order ]
Blind Guardian is my all time favorite metal formation . Hope you like them too. :)
here is their web-site
B.G official homepage (http://www.blind-guardian.de )

yeah he is so are all the guys. i just love that band .....
Hansi is one of the best vocalists in power metal ever....surely together with Kai Hansen [gamma ray and ex helloween] and Chris B. [grave digger] >those are german bands also>>>very good ones !
Pure true power/heavy metal from Germany at its best !!
when it came to good power metal i just can't mention the bands from the usa - iced earth [good firends of BG - also a killer band] and Jag Panzer..... there are more but i won't bother you anymore
i suppose you asked me about samples , saying that you've went to the demos section and nothing was happening.... there are no samples there . anyway check the link below ....hope you get to hear some stuff.
Actually on the official site you can get samples from the newest album at the new album section ....
and you can also sample here :
[the demos rock but check the albums i mentioned :)]

It seems WinterSoul, that you have great taste in music. ;)
Blind Guardian is another one of my favourite bands. Imaginations from the Other Side, and Nightfall in Middle-earth are my favourite albums of theirs.
What do you think of their new one, A Night at the Opera? I am slowly getting into it, but the sound is a little different than their previous albums.

Hailz Shagrat my man !! lol
Good to see you here !
Way to go !
Imaginations maybe one of the best albums they ever released i aslo like Somewhere far beyond, Follow the blind and Nightfall. Actually there hasn't been a BG album in which i've been disappointed >>>i like them all. hansi and co are great musicians and their idea of music changed the way i perceive metal forever.
In my point of view the new album is yet another masterpiece and was worth the wait i think. It shows that this band has grown up, but in a positive way and yet still remained metal.
I like it. :)
You don't have a bad taste of music yourself . Cheerz! It's good to see Guardian fans here. You made my day !!
Btw did you hear Demons & Wizards ?
What do you think ?

Well I will give the new album more time to come around. I am sure I will grow to love it in time.
Demons & Wizards? Yeah, I have heard them a lot. I really like the music, well, most songs anyway. There are a couple songs I don't really likebut overall they are great.
I love that heavy, crunchy guitar (Iced Earth style) mixed with the great vocals of Hanis (Blind Guardian style). It works well together.

yes it surely does. Deffinetely a good production. When i listen to it i feel the friendship bond between those guys. they can work together and produce killer music, having in mind the fact that their two bands are rather differently orientated. Still really alike though.
Love them both anyway and i'm looking forward to the next D&W album. There was this interview of Jon Schaffer i read some time ago and his said that there will be D& W till Hansi and him run out of material. Sounds interesting but will all be good i wonder. Waiting to see .....time will tell how much potential those two great musicians have as a pair.
Rescently i got the limited edition digipack of D&W. wow you should see it if you can get your hands on it somehow......perfect package design and a bonus track. It was a limited edition and i was lucky enough yo get it. Thank's god.
concerning the songs.....well i found all of them really good but one song really cought my attention. - Fiddler on the green.
Lovely tune....reminds me a little bit of the old Guardian albums.
Btw Shagrat which are your fav bands?
