Handling and technique in LotR

Is there any information about fighting styles in Lord of the Rings, i.e. Gondorian style or Elvish form?

To the best of my knowledge, Tolkien never really gets into fighting styles of the races, outside of some real basic concepts - such as elves being very good with bows and dwarves perfering axes etc.

Yes i actually noticed that when i was reading the books

Mainly Because i started reading The Lord Of The Rings books arfter i finshed reading The Sword of Bedwyr by R.A. Salvator or someone

And it there is alot of detailed information about the fighting styles, Techniques and so on

Also *this has nothing to do with this section* But on the maps the land about the shire i think it is says Eridor.Erador not sure of spelling and this is also the name of the land in The Sword Of Bedwyr

Could this be just a coincidence or are they linked???
