well what u guys think ur future is going to be like? what carreer u think ur going to have? i know im gonna have sumthin in the government. but im gonna start off in the marines in 2 years :)

At the moment, I'm studying criminology and psychology at college. After I recieve a B.A., I would like to earn a Master's Degree and a PhD.

For a career, I would like to become a Forensic Psychologist and work as an Investigator for a law enforcement agency, and perhaps teach a course in either criminology or psychology at a college.

when i was in high school i wanted to be a psychologist
i planned on going straight to college and so on

now i run an internet business from home
i never saw myself doing this, but i love it and i'm happy
now the only other goal i have is to marry (some day) and have children

BG...I took maths, chem and biology for A levels.... are you doing statistics or mechanics? I did mechanincs, but spent most of the lesson having pen fights with the lad I sat next to....we even played dot to dots with freckles once lol. My predicted grades were BBC.....but then I discovered a social life about 4 months before my final exams....opps

Well...i've always had my heart set on being an Astronomer....but i just said to myself, lets face it...you're not good enough at maths. lol So that idea has been replaced by my love for english and writing. I hope to study English, Biology, Geography and possibly Psycology at A Level...do an english degree in university...and see where that gets me...

I'd love to write children's books and illustrate them myself...that'd be amazing. :) But i could always do that on the side of being a journalist or something like that....maybe a critic... :huh: It's all so daunting isn't it! :o lol

Well, I really don't know what I really want to be, I have sevral options in case I don't get what I want to be so I have something to fall back on.
I would love to be a Astronomer, but I'm not that great at maths or science. I would like to be a palaentologist, study dinosaurs or something, but then again science. So I guess I'll just study music and drama, stuff in the 'Arts' ;) :)

One of the things i'm trying to do really hard at the moment is live in the present. I have spent quite a lot of my life wanting to be some when else. (I stopped wearing a watch because i realised that i spent ages looking at it wishing the time i was in at that moment was over ie when will this class finish, when can i leave work, when will 'now' be over - i was wishing my life away). I would also think life will be great when i have a different job/partner/home etc. Happiness was always something for the future. Now i realise that the only time we ever really have is now and try and live life in the moment. Of course i still have plans/hopes/dreams but the important time is right now.

i am hoping to get a job in the public sector that i'm currently applying for, hoping to hear about it in the next few days, if i don't get in i'll be an electrician in the center of London where they can earn pretty big money and be finished by 1pm every day. :grin:

i'm working on that myself, in just finding joy in the little things, those moments to appreciate

i used to always think the grass would be greener on the other side if/when i have more
but it doesn't work that way

When I grow up I want to have a job that's got something to do with music, because I come from a musical family. My mother's a pianist and my father a composer. I love music!

My friend wants to be a barrister and then a QC, so she has pretty high hopes. ;)

thanks Rumil, i wouldn't be wishing me good luck though, i'll be woring with the public in London so it could be feasible that one day you'd have the "fortune" of bumping into me. lol

oh and BG, people always need electricians, you never know when you might want me to come round and sort out your sockets. :grin: i would even charge a reasonable rate for you dear. :)

I will either be in a professional orchestra that participates for scores in movies ( I play the viola),

or...

I'll be a writer/author of books, newspapers, magazines... something with writing. heh. Maybe motivational essays .. dunno yet. I just love to write.

Maybe an artist, but that's not as fun and rewarding :)

i was always interested in forensic scence....but over everything else i wanna be a pathologist or a vet....and i don't think there's such thing as a forensic vet....
