The Witch-king has been in both movies so far, and PJ has made it quite apparant that it is a different Wraith. His armour and sword of are different styles. He was the one who stabbed Frodo. No doubt he will have some form of spiked helmet underneath.

Yeah he is a bit different from the other wraiths, but I didn't notice at first. Do they actually call him the witchking or do they state that the wraiths have a leader.(i'm not talking about Sauron, to avoid confusing).

He does look kinda different. And in the prologue in FOTR when it shows them as men he's the one in the middle with the crown. Or do they all have crowns?... i'm a little confuzzled meself.

In FOTR when Frodo puts on the Ring at Weathertop, and he enters their world, and sees the ghostly Ringwraiths, at least one of them is wearing a crown. In the book, after being stabbed, and taking off the Rings, Frodo asks the others if they've seen 'the Pale King?"
I suspect that the Ringwraith who calls to Arwen across the River to "Give up the Halfing, she-Elf!" is the Witchking as well. The Ringwraith Frodo runs into in Osgiliath could also be the Witchking [not sure]..
If I remember rightly, the Witchking is actually identified by name until the third book. - he was also known as the Lord of the Nazgul.
I suspect that the Witchking could well be idenfitied, spoken of by name in the third film, set apart from the other Nazgul. For one thing, he will be leading the attack on Minas Tirith. And if the scripwriters are wise, they'll throw in a line somewhere [well before the Battle of the Pelennor Fields} about how no living man can kill him. That's sure to get people who don't know the story wondering what the Hell that means!

Aha super, Why does every young English person that I know use the word 'wicked'. It sounds cool.

In FOTR, on Weathertop, all the Nazgūl wear crowns in the
wraithworld - but the Witch-King is wearing the biggest one.
The Nazgūl approaching Frodo in Osgiliath in TTT is NOT the
Witch-King - you can see his sword at his side and it is a
normal Nazgūl sword, not the one of the Witch-King.
And you know what?? I will get the Witch-King in Wraith-World
costume for the premiere of ROTK - including the crown.....

Oh that is SO cool (especilly because he dies in RoTK) I might want to be a hobbit for halloween...lol lol
Khamul

Another thing is... as far as I know there was only one other ringwraith whose name was known... But he was referred to as 'Khamul the Easterling' (in the Unfinished Tales I think). Now, correct me if I'm wrong (I would go downstairs and watch the DVD to check, BUT I know I'll end up watching the whole film then and I have stuff to do tomorrow morning!!! Its already 2.30 over here in England!), but I dont remember seeing anyone that wasnt white (or that even looked anything like the Easterlings we saw in TTT) in that shot of the 9 ringwraiths as the 'great sorcerers and kings of old'...
Oh yeah... hahaha King_of _Angmar! That will be very cool, you'll have to get a buddy of yours to take a few pics and post them up here! You going to get that kick-*** sword that I've seen in the shops and on the web though?!? That would totally rule! (Although you'd probably get taken out by armed police in the cinema lobby!) lol

@Khamul: Yeah, the sword is so great. I held it in my hands at
the RingCon in Bonn last year - and unfortunately it is too long
and too heavy for me.....(and too expensive.... )
But the shop owner, who I knew well, lended it to me for the
costume contest.
I was also thinking about Khamul, the black Easterling, and the
nine kings in the prologue.
But they weren't a good choice at all, they were much too old.
I think it was meant to be the time when they got their rings -
Sauron never gave his powerful rings to such old men! I think
they actually were about 30 - 40 years old.
And, by the way, I don't think the warriors at the Black Gate
are Easterlings - they are Haradrim. I know, they are named as
"Easterling" everywhere, but they carry a Haradrim flag. And some of the Haradrim out of the group with the Mumakil are
wearing pieces of the same armour.
Oops, sorry for being off-topic....

I can't believe I didn't know the Witchking was slightly different from the others! I definitely have to watch out for that one. I thought all of them were wearing crowns when Frodo put on the ring! Thanks for the information! :)

I've got a neighbour who would make a good Ringwraith - except that she drives a red SUV rather than a black horse. She tears up and down the drive at all hours - more than once she has almost knocked a child or cat over.
And she has a grandson who's screams are more frightening than any Ringwraith's!
Come to think of it, I think I'm living next door to the Witchqueen of Angmar.

Say, do you think that Ringwraith that cornered Frodo in Osgiliath was Gothmog?
Also, the Wraith flying over the marshes was the Witch-king. Notice how Frodo kept seeing flashbacks of him.
