Well as you know we have no top posters or such. The reasons are many but mainly because it does not really tell you anything about that persons contribution to the site or their stadning with peers on the forum.

So we are going to have a member of the month. This will be voted on by all the moderators and other site staff. The winner will have an additional avatar added below their present one indicating their status for that month. Perhaps their might be some other benefits too....... Then it will be voted on again, and a new member chosen or maybe the same person again.

Do you like this idea? We think it would be a fair reflection of who has contributed most that month.

Mmmm agreed.....i hate post counts...they just encourage rubbish posts verymad ....i'd much rather see content and thought being noted and recognised:thumbs:

I think its a great Idea! I agree that the most loyal memebers should be recognized for their hard work and kind words...

All of the above. I'd rather see members recognizing those who deserve it than those who simply post for postings' sake.

Sounds like a great idea! Maybe tie them in with the "Ringbearer" title or something ...

Great idea. I also love Algamesh's "Ringbearer" title. Seems appropriate! Maybe an avatar of the ring to go with it?

In that you will get Quality, rather than races to rack up lots of one word or similie posts.. all in the name of "The Longest Thread" or other such rubbish.
Oh well everyone already knew my thoughts on this!!:grin:
