do anymore ents fight in the rotk at all. I think they should it would be cool but all the fighting in the rotk is in the east, and all the ents are way off at isengard so I dont really know how they would get over there and fight in gondor. its a long walk for them.

I don't think the Ents have a proper storyline in ROTK so maybe PJ will let them come and fight at the battle of The Pelennor Fields. Hopefully he won't kill off Treebeard or anything like that, but to see the Ents in battle again would be cool.
Perhaps this is why PJ didn't send the Ents to Helm's Deep? He wanted some originality and uniqueness for when they fight at Pelennor? Oh well, we will just have to wait and see.
But as far as I can remember, Treebeard is due to feature in the first hour of ROTK (The Voice of Saruman etc.) but then surely he'll reappear later on?

Spoilers from the book.
The ents do fight again in the war of the ring. After Theoden leaves Rohan it is invaded by orcs who are defeated by the ents. As with many battles of the war we only learn of this one in passing but it would be cool to have a few shots of it IMO.

Besides, after the WOTR, the group returns to isengard where Treebeard says farewell.

i think that is almost definately cut. 1 reason, which doesnt have much validity, but theres no mention of treebeard ont he cast list at IMDB. and 2, which i think is a very big clue that its cut, is that the speech treebeard gives in the book about him sensing the world changing and whatnot, was given to galadriel in the FOTR movie. 3 another point of that scene was to find out that saruman was let out of orthanc, with the rumors of the scouring being cut and saruman dying alot earlier, theres another reason to not even bother with that scene

I think they should have the Ents in ROTK, yet for only a scene or two, and simply for the purpose of closure.

i think it would be cool to see them in ROTK but like grima said they only appear in the books arfter the ring has been destroyed and i think P.J will like have the hobbits go to Gondor or something and end the movie all cheary and merry.
BUT if he makes it go one for a bit longer then TreeBeard might be on it to say farewell to frodo and the rest
i dont know.......

correct they arent in ROTK till they had back to the shire(not that i remember anyways) and that scne most likwly will be cut. they will be on the movie though as theres the other scene from TTT that was cut from the movie to be put into ROTK(when merry and pippin meet up with aragorn and legolas and gimli and gandalf and they all co nfrotn saruman) i CANNOT WAIT for that scene, i think it was maybe one of my favs out of the whole series of the book

Well, from what I have been able to gather here, I think that Ents will be in RotK 100%. Why did they end TTT like they did if the Ents were not going to be in RotK.
And as for Treebeard not in the cast list on IMDB. That has become a bit more spoiler free. Before it said on Viggo Mortensen; Strider/King of Gondor. Can you find that now?
Nope.
They have probably cut some parts from the cast list to reduce spoilers for those who have not read the book.
