So can someone give me the 411 on what's going on with this website?

Hi Elanor, welcome to War of the Ring.

We are a new site, jus topened a fortnight ago. We hope to build the site onto a great Tolkien resource. With a friendly and simple forum, uptodate photos, gallery etc. addtionally we are building up artcles on battles, people etc from the books. This will eventually be mad einto a an encyclopedia with lots of maps grahics etc.

WE are keen to envolve all the visitors not just forum members. Anyway take a look about the rest of the site and you will get an idea of what we are up to. Lots more to come. Any questions or suggestions just give us a shout.

I was enamoured with "War of the Ring" when I first saw it and I believe that a weary traveller is very fortunate to arrive upon this doorstep! There isn't any "better than thou" attitude here ... just a bunch of folks who enjoy Tolkien stuff and want to share their thoughts and experiences.
