thats your title and it changes as your post count goes up.........its actually the name of the first chapter of LOTR, and youll progress thru the book, chapter by chapter, following the journey of the fellowship

I thought my question would be best posted here...I am new and a Silver Subscriber (proud to be!) - although we have custom avatars, I would like to know how to erase "A long expected party" under my user name of Rune of Mirkwood and have another statement used....is this possible, since our avatar will not change? Could someone let me know? Those wise Istaris and Valar...what would we do without their HELP???

On other VBulletin forums, you do it on the "My Profile" screen, where there is a box which says "Custom User Text". I don't know if it is the same for this forum, as I can't get custom text, but that's probably where it'll be. ;)

VBulletin is the brand of forum these forums use. Click on "Options" (the first button on the menu bar) and then "My Profile", and that should get you to the page with "Custom User Text" as one of the options.

No, there's no custom text box. You have to email Illuvatar with the custom text you want.

Rune sweetie with us Mods we had to go through Illuvatar to get our custom titles - private messege him with the titles we wanted and then he changes puts the custom title in for us. (Lucky guy gets to do all the fancy stuff ;) )

I don't know if that is the same set up for the Subscribers but if you do not find a way to change your title yourself in your options, then I guess that it is.

if you send Illu a private messege with the custom title you want, then he will change it for you.

One of the benefits of subscribing besides the Silver award, and custom avatar, is a custom title as well.

Rune, the text that's under your name is known as a title, and as a subscriber your entitled to a custom one of your own choosing. All you need to do is either email me or send me a pm with what you want.
