so what are ur rooms like? well ever since my bro joined the army last year i get the basement!(it's furnished....) i got my bathroom, kitchen, living room and of course a bedroom down here. it's so cool..lol. ne way: INVISION!!

u walk down the stairs, theres a wall on the right. u walk to the left, and look behind u theres my wonderful kitchen. i dont even use the oven/dishwasher so that's useless. u see the little countertop with the phone on the wall, and i have 2 stools there, all my menus on the left. to the right is the fridge packed with ****. and in the shelves above the sink and everything i have cereal, tuna, some dishes, some cups, etc..and on the counter, a bowl of fruit lol. then .. if u walk to the right of the kitchen is the living room ... the big living room with my lil entertainment center (the entertainment center is against the wall)& 62 inch tv. on the bottom of the entertainment centers theres a little area enough for some stuff but i put the dvd/ps2/xbox/gamecube in there and it all fit. lol so then across from that i got a little sofa, enough for 2 ppl. on the left side of the entertainment center is where my radio is on the wall. on the right is three towers on the wall with - games for xbox/ps2/gamecube, all my dvds, and cds. behind the sofa, is the desk, with the comp, cds, etc..then if u leave the living room, and head back towards the kitchen there is another room to the left ...the bedroom, and in the bedroom is the bathroom! (haha good setup) the bed, tv on wall, vcr, satelite, and that's it.

yea im spoiled i know..what are ur rooms like?

Mines kinda shabby but i do have my computer in it :grin: My bed's near the window and my telly is at the end but all in all its not big enough.

I live in the basemment too. It is also furnished.lol It isn't the biggest thing in the world, and hardly any light comes in, but it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. My sis has a room right next to me. I love my room. Though my closet could house a whole jungle, it's that messy...lol lol

Well my room is well.... erm..... well green i guess lol i av a thing about green things :grin: i av loads of teddy bears, couple of posters, loads of videos, my TV, CD player and of course my trusty computer *cough* .
That about sums it up its fairly small but comfortable and cosy ;)

i wish i had a basement....my room is on the 1st floor (2nd floor to all you americans!)...its got purple (well..apparently purple more grey/lavender to me...but...)......and it has a computer (a black dell with a flatscreen)....erm....i have quite a few posters! a jonny rotten one, 2 or 3 blink 182 ones, an ashton kutcher one or two...erm...a few robbie wiliams...a green day...some lotr ones....i think you get the picture but there are more than this!

i have a blue/metal sofabed (not that it is useful as either of these things os its covered in clothes and stuff!), erm....and......i have 2 calendars (i was given one and won the ohter!) a U2 one and a rocky horror one.....erm...i have pink wardrobes (from when i was 2 and had no taste! lol)

thats about it! lol lol

Well, there's a wardrobe, a table/bookshelf with a chair, my bed, two bookshelves overflooded with books, and my computer with speakers and stuff. And yes, I do have a dressing table complete with a mirror and small stool. All made out of peachwood...so my room looks kinda nice.

It's also go a bathroom. And thats about it.

And it's mine... all mine... preciousss....

my room is the largest in the house but its amazingly cramped in there. theres 2 beds, a large desk, 3 wardrobes, 2 large fish tanks, a cornem unit with a TV, video, dvd and a stereo on it. the one good thing about my room is i look out of the window and it over looks a large park, oh and the buffy the vampire slayer calendar. :)

i post on the board from my office, but it's a home office.
i have a large desk, with dell computer complete with flat screen, scanner, printer, postage machine, etc.....for my work.

i have a futon in here for nap time ;)
and an entertainment center with stereo, tv, dvd and vcr

i also have an exercise bike so i can watch tv while i ride it
lol

my favorite part is the wall dedicated to pictures of trips i've taken with the boys (i used to be their nanny but i travel with them often).
together we've been to hawaii four times, san diego twice, los angeles for disney land, and i have pictures of us covering a wall. i also have a really old valentine from alec (he's the youngest). he was about 3 (now 8) when he made it for me, he spelled my name with a M instead of a W, so it comes out "damn, i'd be chillin' if you'd be willin' to be my valentine". and he draws me pictures that i put up too.

so that's about it.

i only have 2 wardrobes..and my mum decided that she needs one for her winter clothes (or summer if we are in winter) so i only have one to squish all my clohes in...and she omplains when they are creased! lol roflmao

i got a $2500 double x gamer comp! liquid cooled, dvd, 240 gig(not like i need it) all this good stuff. flat screen,printer, scanner, cable modem, microphone, webcam and everything!!! haahaahah the useless **** i own!!

My room...

my room was GREAT!! it's kinda small and has one miserable window that allows 0 light in... but absolutely great, my viotlet wallpapered walls were covered in posters old and new ranging from led zeppelin to a huge map of Pakistan, from radiohead to LOTR (of course); my book shelves over flowed with... well books, and i managed to squeeze a few odds and ends like Tarot decks, my record collection and what not.

And on the side of the room i have my sewing station... a medium sized desk thingy with a sewing machine on top and drawers for thread, zippers, taylors chalk and fabric remnants... sewing stuff. and next to the table is a dress form, which perpetually has some unfinished project on it (they get finished... eventually)

but my favorite part of my room was this big leather chair from the 70's... it was so comfortable and it was set up right next to my stereo and record player. I absolutly loved my room, it smelled of Nag Champa incense and Chanel Mademoiselle perfume... it was great! then we put the house on the market... and down came the posters, off went the incense, my sewing station has to be kept clean ALL THE TIME (which is quite impossible if you ask me) and my beloved chair was banished to the basement. My room now looks like a 6 year old girl lives in there... i hate my room!

We just moved a few months ago and my new room is a little smaller than my old one, but everything fits perfectly.

When you walk in: on the right is my dresser with my TV on it, along with PS2, DVD player, and VCR. My closet is on the left of the dresser. My bed is right there facing the door when you walk in. On the left of my bed is a huge shelf with my Star Wars collection on it. To the right of the bed is my computer table with my stereo on it, along with over a hundred DVDs and my dragon/wizard stuff. Like I said, we recently moved, so I don't have any of my posters up, but I did put my United Cutlery Sting sword on the wall :)

My room is really small. Actually my room is the biggest bedroom in my house. Its green which is my favorite color. I have a bed against a wall with a window. I have the computer in my room, a t.v. and a closet.

and this thingy where I hang my used clothes and odds and ends... hehe... Dangit, my room in overflowing with books... I need to get rid of them... I mean, I've this HUGE collection of Enid Blyton books (I was a HUGE fan when I was a lot younger) and since my Mom won't allow me to give them away, I'm stuck with my still growing collection of books from other authors... *sighs*

Books..books...books galore... I'm a VERY messy person, and believe me, there's books under my bed, books on the chairs, books books everywhere.

i have soooo many books its unbelievable...i have completely full book shelves (about 10 of them bout 2 or 3 metres long each....take up most of my room!) and then i have a few boxes under my bed full cos i can't fit all my books on the shelves....and my dad built like a library bookcasey thing in the hall outside my room....i use that too! all in all i have quite a few books really! lol lol

nope....seriously...my bed is about 40cm from the floor..maybe a bit more...and all the space underneath is books....and i do really have all those shelves and stuff....not quite a school library though....depending on how large the library is of course!

i've only got boring fish now, i got in one tank, some albino moors, black moors and a couple of plecs and in the other, a dozen or so little goldfish, a small catfish, 2 ghost carp and a couple of plecs.

my wardrobes are packed full of stuff, i don't wear most of it and i just thought of something else i have in my room, loads of trainers/shoes/boots, there must be 15-18 pairs, why do i need so many?

well in my room i have 2 dressers, one of which i rarely use the drawers, the other never, on/in one is well over 100 empty altoid tins lol.. then they are both covered in more random stuff hehe
then there's my desk, which has a desktop with monitor, speakers, and printer, all in very little space :) (the printer is on top of the monitor) to the right is the keyboard and mouse, along with a laptop (oh yeah, there's also a laptop in one of the dresser drawers) and then there's an unused tower under my desk.. to the right of my desk is my bunk bed :grin: i love sleeping higher up, and it leaves lots of storage space underneath, though none of it is used.. no blankets or sheets, just a sleeping bag.. shelves around my bed w/ tennis trophies, alarm clock, and other randomness..
well im sure thats much more than any of you cared to know, so ill stop myself here :p

My room is the second largest - its blue, with silver spirals painted in a border-type thing, a nice big bed, 3 chests of drawers (diff. sizes), a blue-whitewashed tea chest, a built in wardrobe/desk combo things, and a directors chair, with a really fantastic stripy cushion that says 'I am gorgeous'. I don't have a mirror as I have a large bathroom, with 2 sinks/vanity units for makeup etc. We have a third lounge down my end of the house (its a bungalow) which at the moment has an old bed settee, and my tv/dvd but nothing else.....we're getting a new wall unit for the tv and all my books and cd's etc. But the 3rd lounge is classed as my area. I'm painting it a pale lavender colour on 3 walls, and the main wall, where the wall unit is will be a really deep, rich purply/red wine colour

i managed to leave out my hi-fi system....i have a CD playr tape player, radio thingy and amp....on the same musical not (kinda a pun...) i also have a bass, a guitar and an 2 amps...although i put them in my brothers room cos he's at boarding school....

My room is pretty simple. I've never been sharp with ornamenting rooms, and mine is not very fancy. There's my desk, bed, book shelf, drawers, closet, TV, and most important, my sound system. :naughty:

My room is usually not personal. Mother sometimes drives me out of it in order to watch TV, and every day our parakeets invade it. :( Oh well, can't be helped I guess. Above all my room is a pleasant little place where I feel good to be. :)

My room looks towards our garden,where we have kiwi plants.My bed is placed parallel to the window,so I can watch the evening sky before I fall asleep.I have two nightstands,on each side of my bed,which are covered with candles.People think I have pagan ceremonies in my bedroom.Too bad I don't have a TV and computer in my room,otherwise I probably wouldn't leave my room lol.One of the things I love most about my room is my Lord Of The Rings posters on the walls ;).

My room is diddy which is why i have to have a high bed with a ladder cos i have to fit my seat and desk under it. I also have a wardrobe...MAHOOSIVE shelves that are so big...yet still insufficient storage for all my worldy junk...i have a chest of drawers which doubles as a dressing table...another clever usage of space...:rolleyes:...and various piles of clothing...paper...magazines mostly...whatever manages to find itself onto my floor.

It's a yellow room :elfeek: lol and i have blue yellow and white cutains and bedcovers...sound garish...probably is...oh well! :p

My greatest achievement is the amount of lotr posters and magazine cuttings i have managed to aquire and stick up...bonos-girl will verify this...as i will confirm that she LOADS of books in her house! ;)

I DID have to consider using the ceiling for the overflow of posters when i got a new tt poster but now our house is on the market and my beloved posters have had to be partially removed...there were some i refused to part with. So now i have a big pile of rolled up posters doing nothing...it breaks the heart! :( lol
