Lady~Arwen

Arwen grabs her sword. She is full of anger. Her father kept telling her that there was no hope, not a chance of Aragorn returning. Her father had just told her that again and left for a meeting. She was wearing her riding outfit. She ran out of the castle. She got on Asfolath and rode off. She was going to Lothlorien, her grandmother would understand. She soon got lost, a thick fog had grown over the forest. She thought she was alone until she saw something dart by. Asfolath shook nervously. Arwen looked around, hoping to Haldir, Rumil, or another Lothlorien elf....

The Elven Ranger sensed the presence of another, and hastened across the dark forest, his quick stride sliced through the mist like a sword cutting through flesh...
The crafter of mist paused behind a veil of gray haze which he himself had conjured, and caught a glimpse of the young she-Elf...
He had recognized who she was...the fair Evenstar.

Arwen looked around, scanning the forest carefully for any movement, until her blue eyes caught a glimse of the elven ranger.

Their eyes lock together and Arwen's heart is fluttering madly, slowly she dismounts and walks towards the ranger.

The Elven Ranger watched the fair Evenstar approach him through the dense shroud of mist.
He raised his open hand toward her - as if to stop the she-Elf from coming ever closer, or to warn her.
Yet as the Ranger did this, the veil of mist surrounding them immediately separated, allowing the Ranger to glimpse the fair Evenstar face-to-face...and then he began to speak.
The Ranger's voice was calm, yet seemed almost void of emotion.
"I thought you were sailing to the Undying Lands this evening, Arwen, daughter of Elrond."

She looks at him, "Yes, I was. Yet, now I have chosen not to. I wish to stay, to stay to be with Aragorn, Son of Arathorn"
((By the way Evenstar, I was rping Arwen))

"Although I sympathize with your true feelings, Arwen, you must realize what you're doing. Remember, your actions could have dire consequences."

She looks at the ground then back up, "I know. But for the first time, I feel this could be the one person I am ment to be with. And, no matter what anybody says I am willing to give up my immortality for him, I am truly in love. And I know what I am risking, but none of that seems to matter anymore"

"Very well...I will lead you to him. We must ride to Helm's Deep, and let us hope are presence goes unnoticed."

"As you wish, Arwen." replied the Elven Ranger, "Follow me."
*The Ranger led the fair Evenstar through the dark forest, and finally to a peaceful clearing where the light of the full moon shone bright as crystal...
...The Elf then whistled a harmonious melody out into the night air...silence then ensued. After a brief moment, the sound of galloping hooves drew near from within the forest, thundering ever closer. Then...the Ranger's auburn horse appeared into the clearing.
The Ranger mounted his mighty steed and turned toward Arwen*
"Let's be off then." he said.

Arwen smiled, "That is a gorgeoud horse you have." She looked around at the Serene setting, almost wishing it would never end, though she knew all too well to would, she muttered to herself, "Why can't all of Middle Earth look this beautiful?"

hope you don't mind me joining in but i couldnt find an OOC thread for this so here goes - you can find my character profile on the OCC thread for Ellandans flight: Etaina)
She could almost hear the chimes of Arwens voice as she spoke through the night , clear and warm. Etaina had ,at first , been caught by the whislting of her guide and thought herself trapped when silence blanketed the company - and yet her message would not go undelivered.
Removing her hood so the flaxen brightness of its snatched the light from the moon she walked from amidst the shadows.
" Lady Arwen" she breathed quietly
" I have for you a message..">

OOC: Hello, Etaina! Welcome to RP...I don't want to spoil your fun :( but this RP's been sorta dead for a long time. If you check the date on the post previous to yours, you'll see that it says Mar 7, 2003. And Lady~Arwen has been inactive so long that she's no longer a member...
Like I said, don't want to spoil your fun but I don't want to leave you hanging, wondering why nobody's responding either. But if you want to bring other people in and sorta reboost this one, go ahead. Otherwise, sorry! :(

Since this RPG is kind of dead, I want to post and say this.
Since there was not a OOC thread for this adventure, the thread will be locked on June 30.
If anyone wants to save this, please post and alert me before that date.
