Action Moments in ROTK

I cant really remember in the rotk are there any other action seens besides the huge epic battles.

Action scenes other than Aragorn's army of the dead versus the Corsairs of Umbar, siege of Gondor, Pellenor Fields and the battle at the Black Gate: (those are all the 'huge epic battles', correct?)

- maybe Wormtongue killing Saruman
- Shelob attacking Frodo and Sam
- Sam storming Cirith Ungol and rescuing Frodo
- Frodo and Gollum fighting inside Mount Doom

knowing PJ, he will probably sneak a few more in.

I can't wait to see Frodo and Gollum fight within Mount Doom after Frodo goes temporarily insane. :p

Also Denethor trying to torch Faramir and Eowyn and Merry's battle with the Witch King.....

I really hope PJ doesn't sneak any more in, he's got way too much to handle already, there's no call for more!

well one things for sure, any battle scene they make will be bigger than it was in the book, and they might just add a few more...

Exactly. They might actually start the fight at the Black Gates before the ring is destroyed or something like that?

YA that would be cool. I think they should have a huge fight at the Black Gate for atleast 10 or 15 min than the ring be destroyed. But the battle cant last to long because the enemy way outnumbers the good guys.

Or that could be the good thing about it. We could leave Frodo and Sam in Mount Doom for a while and concentrate on the battle. For people who haven't read the book, they will really think that they're doomed until we quickly cut back to Mount Doom for the rings destruction.

that could possibly work - i'm assuming most of the stuff after they destroy the ring is going to be cut, so they'll have to have a lot of stuff before then, if it's going to be 3.5 hrs...

If they have too much stuff, they might cut some out and put them in the extended dvd.
