Yes, that's the movie -- but not a mental ward -- a facility for terminally ill patients. He is an amnesia victim that is supposedly being housed there while experiments are being done to help him regain his memory. Obviously, there's a lot more to it, including a surprise ending. But although it sounds dark and gloomy, it's really terrific.

What's kind of funny is watching some of these earlier movies, and suddenly you'll see a look, or a shift of the way he's standing -- something -- and just for a split second, you see Frodo.

Yup -- they're less blue in all the previous movies. Now -- before we jump to conclusion that they were colored in LOTR, we've all seen him in interviews since, and they are VERY very blue, just like in the movie. Sometimes people's eyes get lighter as they get older -- mine have. Who knows?

One thing to look for -- if anyone finds a copy of Deep Impact, check out his teeth -- they're capped!

It's so nice to review past movies that actors have acted in, and you can see the difference in their image and acting skills and all lol
Like the other time I was watching Jumanji. I was so esctatic and surprised to see that the little girl in the show was actually Kirsten Dunst (i saw the name in the credits) when she was a kid. No wonder I kept having the feeling that the lil' girl resembled 'someone'.

As in -- capped -- no gap, no other spaces, just rounded, perfect teeth. Looked VERY weird to me -- just not right. Don't know how they did it either -- I guess they were temporaries.

Imagine how self-possessed he would have to be to not let anyone mess with his teeth in a cut-throat biz like Hollywood. Most other actors would have had their teeth capped permanently. But personally, I find that little bit of "imperfection" very charming.

Oh -- and one other thing I noticed from watching a whole raft of his old movies recently -- his left eye is slightly bigger than the right.

I was thinking about it and it occurred to me that Frolijah bears an uncanny resemblance to Michelangelo's David. Then, lo and behold, I found photos of their heads in the same position (too bad Frodo doesn't have any naked scenes with a slingshot) and put them together. The similarity is striking! Imagine, Frolijah is a living Michelangelo!

Utterly, Lyrkalas -- I've noticed that too. His skin has the same texture as the statue too.

I was lucky enough to see David in person almost 20 years ago -- he is spectacular.

I dunno if people in Britain have seen it yet, but for those in the states, the MTV awards was super awesome!!! But I do think that Lij had some sugar before going, because he seems to be really high on the hyper scale.

That did seem to show up especially afterwards, in the green room. I guess he was excited by all the awards they won.

But his acceptance speech re: his friendship with Sean was so sweet and so classy. I kept thinking, "What are they doing there with all those jerks?!"

And best of all -- it looks like he's letting his hair grow again -- yay!

Lij was asked by an interviewer where he'd keep the award -- his answer was, "In the fridge."

BTW, the guy whose back he jumped on was Iann Robinson, an MTV personality and a friend of his, who was interviewing Kelly Osborne at the time. That's why Iann kissed him, and of course, we know that Lij knows the Osbornes, and that's why he kissed Kelly. He was sweet to apologize for interrupting her interview.
