Forces of Gondor in ROTK

In TTT they made Rohan not quit as strong as they were in the book, PJ seemed to make them less powerful for some reason. But in the ROTK I hope they dont make Gondor weak to with only like 2000 men. There needs to be alot more than that. Or else the battles will seem way to fake I mean 2000 on 50000.

I reckon the Gondor army will be just a bit smaller than the urak hai army in TTT and Rohan's army should be about double the amount that came down the hill.

I'm just estimating here, what do you guys think?

Sounds plausible to me RB - like Morgothian i wouldn't want Gondor to seem too weedy.

In the book there were a total of 6000 before all the battles

I think the Gondorian army will be bigger than the Uruk hai in TTT because 7000 go to the back gate put think how many died during the battle of the pelennor thousands and thousands so there will have to be more.

Hmm ... tough question .. if we think that the troops from the outland amounted to just under 3000 (Pippin watches them march into the city) and that this will be significantly less than the garrison of the city - where the most part of the people of Gondor dwell. Also if you consider that the 7000 men Aragorn leads to Mordor were made up of 3500 men of the city but still left the city "in better defense than before the siege began ". I'd say that there must have been somewhere in the region of 10000 fighting men in the city at the start of the siege.

it should have been written with like 600,000 troops but eh thats just my opinion

Does anyone know how many orcs there are in the witch kings army like how many thousand about 30 or more

also how many men does aragorn bring with him in the black fleet at the end of the pelennor field battle

i know if i wrote this book i would of had more battles and like 300,000 orcs
