Let's discuss this thing!
I got the reel but no sound - still could see was well orchestrated!
Can he put Peter Jackson's name on it with New Line Cinema unless it is a possibility?
What about the date - just playing?
I LOVE how the ring falls towards Smaug's firy jaws at the end! Great climax! I can't wait to see it WITH SOUND!
Even if it's all a hoax, I still appreciate the workmanship!

Yeah I saw a trailer for *The Hobbit* movie, it looks like a fake, check it out and tell me what ya think...

i think it's really cool
but definitely a fan made trailer
legally i don't think he's supposed to use the new line logo
i've been waiting for it to be taken down

it's freakin' cool though
and i'm crossing my fingers that pj will at least do the year long tv version of the hobbit i've read about
at least then we would have something to look forward to after rotk

Oh Aerandir, if you're trying to use html it won't work. Too bad, isn't it?

I think this one's a fake. It mostly has only bit by bit of FotR in it. If it were a real Hobbit movie, the scenes would be more original. Someone just made it, probably this certain Steve Letham.

it looks so cool though...unfortunately i coulodn't hear the sound....but it looked really cool! i'm surprised they haven't been asked to take off the new line logo or anything yet....

Great! How convenient Adobe Premiere is! :D This person is just as creative as I am! Wow, I admire his work!

But it's obvious that it's not real... This music track can be downloaded and the font is the Tolkien font I also use on my personal website. :)

Yep I dream of that too. We can dream together! :snooze: :snooze: But I heard him say he is definately not gonna do the Hobbit, but Ian McKellen said he'd still be interested!

I wrote a script for the Hobbit and I know a person who is a cousin of Elijah and she is gonna get him to read it....cool or what?

That's awesome! Of course, it would be kinda cheesy to have Elijah in the movie, but he could always get PJ thinking about it...

But just knowing Elijah's cousin is really cool! notworthy

BTW, last I heard, PJ said he'd do a hobbit if anyone asked him to, which no one has yet, and both McKellen and Holmes want to be in it (Holmes said that he loved the way they made him look younger for the shot in FotR!) McKellen especially likes the idea of a TV miniseries where they put absolutely *everything* in, stay as true to the books as possible, etc.

True OrkyBash, but don't worry I never wrote Frodo into the script. I wrote it as a story type thing with Old Bilbo narrating every now and again.

No, I trust that you wouldn't have Frodo in the script... I was actually thinking about the doing something like make Elijah play Bilbo as well! :elfeek:

Yeah I think it would pretty cool to see, a hobbit movie why not! hehehe I heard they wanted Peter to direct it, but I also heard that Sean Astin said that if Peter wouldn't pick it up as a project that he would gladly do it.

HOW cool would it be, if it were real!!!!

Isnt Christopher Lee (or is it Ian McKellen) trying to persuade PJ to make a TV series of the Hobbit, so as to not lose any of the detail ??? he reckons it would be more suited to TV.. I ahve to agree! BUT... I doubt PJ is into the small screen somehow :-\
