lollol thanx for the menu suggestions Catz they are all on today's Carte de Jour!! I am sorry to say that the Fangorn salad is off - quite literally - it all walked out during the night (and the last thing my stress levels need right now is unrelaible and uppity bloody lettuce). I am not sure where it's gone to but there seems to be a vague shadow over the humour thread so maybe it poddled off down there for a laugh.

Certainly madamemoiselle :) ... what an excellent choice of meal! May i recommend a Sauron's Red Eye Special Sauce for the steak .... it is fairly hot though! But you can counteract the heat with our Morgul Blade Neopolitan Ice Cream (the colours being black, grey and light grey) on your Denethor Fruitcake. It is guaranteed to chill the very soul :) Here's your Entdraught (we are lucky to have any left I found out that the pesky Fangorn Salad had been having nips out of MY supply before it went AWOL).

As for beer we have the trusty Dwarven Special Brew or Mordor Black Label Lager.. and finally we have another special on the Haldir Dessert Trolley tonight ...

I must apologise for the delay in service (a couple of Balrogs from the Food Hygene Agency turned up to inspect and in my opinion there is nothing quite so distressing as a bureaucratic demon of the ancient world breathing down one's neck. Apparently the salad has been getting tanked up on Ent draught and making prank calls to the agency and they've been getting rather irritated...... Anyway you'll all be pleased to hear that we passed the inspection with flying colours .... <Ru waves certificate which looks suspiciously photocopied> but I must finish this sidetrack quite soon because i'm still in brackets and it's giving me anxiety)

Well it is grand to see our lovers of MEs finest cuisine once again.... I am afraid Brian the Balrog and I have had a slight falling out. Apparently the chops were 'ticklish' and he didn't want to be used as a barbecue as it made him feel I was just treating him as an object. I (with a great deal of restraint on my part) pointed out that for a terrifying demon of the ancient world that is both a flame and a shadow he was being a complete wuss and that he should just get on with it. He responded that he may be a terrifying demon of the ancient world etc etc but that he still has feelings and wasn't going to be spoken to in that manner. There followed a full and frank exchange of views and the matter is now in the hands of my lawyers, Precious and Sons (and beleive me they bloody well are!)
