The Matrix of Leadership doesnt corrupt. The ring does.
The Matrix was made for good. The ring was made for evil.
The only similarity I can see is that supposedly the Matrix is a heavy burden to carry, but hardly in the same league as the One Ring.
So no, its not like the One Ring! lol
But then, I've probably overlooked something because I'm not that big a TF fan, and only really know the movie in any detail... I'd be interested to see how you came to that conclusion though, like I say, I'm probably not as big a fan as you sound like you are...
