Oh yeah I've seen that pic before. Mu guess is it would either be:
A behind the scenes shot
The morning after Helm's Deep (TTT extended)
or
ROTK!

I'm sooo tempted to look at this pic (especially after you guys talking about how cool it is), but I won't (I'm one of those people that likes to be surprised)......... :)

Oh I hope it's from RotK! I can't wait to watch it!! :) The picture doesn't fit into almost anything in TTT.

I'm thinking ROTK as well - It could be Helm's Deep, because it really looked like Gimli went to blow the horn while Theoden and the rest rode out over the bridge, and he wasn't seen fighting in that final battle. So afterwards, he could have come down and had a smoke while the company regrouped and decided to go on to Isengard.
But I didn't get the impression that the ground in front of Helm's Deep was so rocky, and as it had been raining all night long, there should be puddles around, right? Yeah, I know - really picky point.
So I'm thinking ROTK as well. :whoohoo:
Totally MHO

Hey it's a good photo, first i think it was from the forest of the ents, but then i saw a green arrow from an elf(Legolas obviously) the photo could be from the Extended Edition of TTT when they are following the two hobbits, ('cause we never saw a battle until they reach the Helm's Deep) or i beg that will belong to the next film.
lol
:( Hey if you saw a grammatical errror, please excuse me, i'am from Peru and I speak spanish, but i wanted to post my little opinion.

umm..I have no idea why I am thinking this, butI keep thinking it is from FOTR, after Gandalf dies and the flock of Crebain is comin....(with Merry and Pippin fighting Boromir) but hey...I dunno if I am hallucinating or something, scince all you guys are saying it's from ROTK

I think the scene you're describing in FOTR, where Merry and Pip are sparring with Boromir and the Crebain fly over is before Gandalf "dies" in Moria. In this pic Gimli is sitting on a dead Uruk, whom they won't run into until after they leave Lothlorien. So i'm pretty sure it's either TTT or ROTK.
The ground does kind of remind me of that area where they were camped in FOTR when the Crebain fly over though, I see where you're getting that impression.
