Hi everybody, I'm new here

Hi everyone, I'm new, but I must admit, I have known about this board for a while, but haven't really had the courage to post. :blush:
Well, I'll tell you a bit about myself.
I'm 16 years old and I'm from England. I only really got into LOTR after seeing Fellowship at the cinema, and only after buying it on DVD did I truly appreciate it (a little bit confusing when you have so much to take in in so little time!) Now it's my fave film ever! :grin: I am currently reading the books, as well as writing my own fanfiction, which I hope to submit to WOTR's fanfic section, and I also do my own fanart of movie scenes/characters (if anyone wants any, don't hesitate to PM me and request!)
I'm rather shy and find it difficult to fit in on message boards, but from what I've seen, all the members here are really nice, and this is one of the friendliest boards I've ever come across. Wish I could say the same for my own...sigh...there's so many troublemakers out there! I hope to make friends with as many people as possible here, and I hope to be accepted into the great community that is WOTR. :)
P.S. Anyone want me to post links to my fanfiction/fanart? I thought that if people wanted me to I would post them in this thread to save creating new ones, if that is OK.

I can't believe it took you time to to believe your worthy enough for this forum, I mean your one of the best LOTR (especially Boromir) Fans that I know. I don't think it matters how long you've liked something, all that matters is that you like it and are willing to show it. I mean I liked it after the same situation as you!
