i thought that we had decied somewhere (probably the book section under LOTR) that they were the same but goblens had kinda adapted to live underground and they had paler skin cos they hadn't been in the sun....

All that talk abt the shards of narsil... lol quite a silly question. Anyway, I came across this shop selling collectible swords. They have the (intact) and another 'Shards of Narsil' where the sword is really broken exactly the way it is in the movie. And its limited edition. T'was the most expensive of all the lotr swords (at least more expensive than the intact Narsil) I think. :o

My score: 50/50. Although I wasn't sure about the shards, I had to guess on that one.

And just a thought....on the question that asked how many people do we see touch the ring in the movie, didn't Boromir touch it on Caradhras? He wasn't listed as a choice. I know he had gloves on, so maybe TECHNICALLY he didn't, but I would count it.

I think he only touched the chain... he held his hand out to touch the ring, but Aragorn stopped him just in time... trust me to watch the scenes with Boromir in carefully :rolleyes:

Thanks Celebrian! I haven't been on for a few days, but i'll have to check it out! (have to empty out my millions of e-mails first, though! Gone for two days and it gets loaded! *shakes head*)
I think all different LotR online trivia games should be posted on this thread... makes sense to me ;)
