I'm truly awed by the horror of the conflict, the hopelessness, especailly i nthe expression of that elf there. Such despair.....

The subtle play of light, except in the dark bits.... outstanding.

I love the way he depicts the human form as just a head and implies that during conflcit we are thus detatched from the very reality of ourselves. As if by just showing head he is alluding to the psychological nature of battle .... fascinating

I have seen some of his other work 'my look at despair' is truly profound, amazing stuff ... 'my load of smilies on a green background' is a biting satire of modern art ... hmm i've had enough art now.... let's go burn something ... where shall we go?

How the orcs, although typically depicted as the aggressors, are passively meeting their fate, as the traditional heroes are engaged as the violent attackers. Challenging our notions of good vs. evil, right and wrong, id and ego. Amazing......
