Incredibly peaceful. More so than I've felt in months. I just paid a second visit to a grand basilica in the countryside and climbing to the crown of its scenic tower was truly amazing. The wind and the sky and the forest and the fields were simply lovely together from such great heights!

I'm kind of tired, but I'm amused at the weather today. it started out cloudy and sort of rainy/drizzly. It then got sunny and then out of nowhere it started to hail. But it wasn't just any normal hail that fell, it thundered and lightninged when the hail fell. After it rumbled for a while it started to snow. It snowed for a few minutes and then the sun came out shortly after. It's now cloudy again lol

(Yeah, and I always thought people were nuts when they said the high school years were chaotic. :rolleyes: ) Senior year, so I'm just trying to make it through in one piece. I feel great. We just got back from a picnic out on the trails. Me and my siblings got to play on a playground (I LOVE the swings!lol) and we got to send my baby bro down the slide. He loved it. veryhappy
Then we went walking around the forest. It reminded me of Lothlorien, with the creek trickling nearby. ;) We also went by a river and walked around. All in all, it was a fun day! :)

Something very interesting happened tonight. Dad began asking me about the Valar and the Maia and how Elrond was tied with the Numenoreans and who Elros was and about Morgoth and aragorn and all the ME mythology...Phew! I'm no Tolkien scholar, and his mythology is so detailed, that I was kinda having trouble explaining some things to him. :blush: Like...why Elros wanted to be a mortal and I couldn't quite remember who the Numenorean King was who first decided to follow Sauron and such. :blush: I said he should ask some Tolkien historians if he was that interested. ;)

Ami - I hope it turns out OK! I had the same thing when I was a bairn - blood tests, injections in the spine, the works, all because they couldn;t figure out that I'd been born with cystitis (or however you spell it... it's a urinary tract/kidney infection that sometimes comes back and plays merry havoc)

LOL!! What a day! First, Mom forgot to wake me up ion time to leave with my Dad to meet my shopping buddy....so Mom took me to meet her.....but first we spent a half an hour defrosting the thick coating of ice that was on the car that she didn't know about! So, I was two hours late starting. Then we had all kinds of trouble finding things on our list, had to go an hour out of our way to get a couple to sign some insureance papers for my friend's husband.....and then she lost her cell phone and we spent a good 45 minutes looking for it in Wal*Mart's parking lot......we finally found it in a near-by puddle of snow slush :o.....and spent a while trying to get it to work, which we were unsuccessful in doing. :( She used pay phone (which are very scarce these days) to call my parents who came out to get me (it was nearly 8:30 pm by this time), and they kindly let her borrow one of our cell phones for a couple of weeks so that she wouldn't have to drive home without one in this weather....she has a three hour drive.

*But*, we got almost everything we were looking for. So that's good. And we had a nice meal at Red Lobster. :grin:

Now I'm tired! I'll sleep well tonight and hopefully be ready for our first day of cookie-baking tomorrow!

mecrymecry I didnt have any time here at WOTR, and I just worked and worked..
It feels like I am living with working. It started to be high busniess after Thanksgiving (end of Nov month) until middle of Jan month, so I am just working overtime, and almost always worned out at home..
