Ok, this a thread where you can share your feelings with the community. It's ok, you can be honest . Nobody, will make fun of you here. Please share with us why you're feeling the way you do and react to the other posts. Maybe you can help them with a problem.

I'll start off, I feel rather well today. Slept okay, went running for an hour in a forest. After that I went ot see this girl I'm in love with but she had to go somewhere, so I 'm not that happy about it. I had to learn quite a bit but i I can't freakin concentrate cuz sh's allways on my mind.

But I didn't make this thread out off self pity, how was your day?

I've had a very stressful week at my job. We got a probate case a few months ago, and we don't usually handle probate! so everyone's been in a HUGE tizzy over it, and since we're settling it this week, tuesday to be exact, this past week has been insane. im not really looking forward to next week... i dont really like little kids, and these kids i agreed to babysit are all off school this week, so i get to do a whole lot more with them. yay. not lol

I just wake up 3 hours before school (before my alarm heh there's nothing more useless than alarms you either wake up before them or they don't stop you from sleeping in)... and as I didn't feel like doing something productive here I am ;).
So the days great so far even tho it'll get better when I finally get my first coffee... any volunteers to go to the freezing kitchen and make one for me? lol

As to me, I'm actually doing fairly well this morning! I had a decent productive, yet restfull weekend and all is quiet here at work so far!

well..apart from having a PE test (i never see the point...was meant to take 40 mins took 5), a biology test (we hadn't been taught half the stuff), a music exam (they played all the songs 5 times so they were stuck in my head til lunch..) and an english test (i could only write 2/3 of a page and everyone else wrote at least 1 1/2 pages.....) my day was good!! lol

and actually...as bad as they may sound they wern't that bad so my day was pretty good....

i have had a pretty good day, any one who tried to stress me out i told to go away, i have had 6 drinks on the pub so far and the person who i had to interivew for a job today didn't show up so i slept for 2 hours instead. :grin:

Okay today was a good day hehe. Yesterday I finished a term paper that i have been writing for the last four weeks and now I fanially don't have to worry about it any more. Everything at school went pretty smoothly. Let's see all during chemistry i got to stare at the guy I have a huge crush on, I had a sub for history, finished by biology homework during lunch, and my english class acted like they were in a zoo. A pretty normal day if i do say so myself.

Today wasn't too bad, although I had a dentist appointment at 9:45 AM :angry: I was so tired, I almost fell asleep in the chair, but when he started working on my teeth, believe me, no one would ever be able to fall asleep during that lol I was going to go back to school but would only be missing a study hall so I went to the mall and got a drink, then drove back to school. I would say it was a good day - my teeth feel and look great :grin:

I've been yawning all day though I have no idea why... we were supposed to have a maths test but now we're not having it YAY!:thumbs: Today was a bit boring though as I had double German and double Maths, and only 4 people turned up for our IT lesson...which was so boring I could have fallen asleep at the keyboard.

My day was the absolute worst. It started out fine. I went to school and started talking to my friends and that was a mistake. Yesterday was the day that a lot of my friends found out if they made JV or Vasity softball. Well one of my friends made JV and was a little upset. Most of my other friends had made JV too. Then they all had found out that this really other good girl in my grade had only made JV and she was really upset so she decided that she was going to quit so all my friends were complaining to me about it. So they were all in a bad mood and I had to listen to them and it was only 7:30 in the morning. That put me in a bad mood. Then I went to chem and took a test where all the questions were ones that were worded weird so who knows how I did on that. The rest of my day went okay until I got to English. My English teacher is the absolute worst teacher in the world. He doesn't teach. All he does is give asignments and then yell about how we are and Honors class and how stupid we are. So I got this paper back today and I got an F because I spelled it's wrong. I did it like twice and I got an F. That is soo unfair and I am soo p*ssed off. The term closes in two weeks andnow my whole grade depends on my research paper. Then I find out that my other good friend got and A- and that the really cute guy that I have had a crush on for a year got a B. Now I was in the same English class with them both last year and I kicked there butts. I had an A+ all four quaters and now they are doing better than me. I tried not to get mad at them especailly the guy I have a crush on because then he gets p*ssed at me and well lets just say it is not a good thing. Oh and I forgot my spanish homework at school. Today was awful.

Well, my day was pretty good. I don't have work that I need to do for tomorrow, so I'm happy about that, and both of my Thursday classes were cancelled, so I don't have class at all on Thursday! Yipeee! Although I do have to go in and make a test up, but I was told it wasn't bad, so I'm not too worried. :thumbs:
So far, not a bad day, but as Curly from "City Slickers" would say, "the day ain't over, yet." ;)

Today I realized that I have a rather boring life at the moment lol There is absolutely nothing to do here right now. Albeit the snow is gone finally, there still isn't much to do. I was gonna see if a friend of mine wanted to gather a few of his friends and do something after school this week, but unfortunately, that particular friend has OSS (out of school suspension) this week for doing some things he shouldn't have done. He's kinda grounded all week too so that's simply out of the question... until next week :) And now that sports are starting again due to spring, pretty much all of my friends are busy with whatever they're doing (tennis, track, baseball, etc...).

Today was not very exciting. School was as usual, then I went to teach my student some English then babysitted his baby brother for 3 hours! :( At least I get paid for it... I got a headache. Here comes my bad day... I woke up at 7 so I had time to brush my teeth and run to school only... I got there almost on time ;)
I woke up with a slight headache, but as I hardly had any time I didn't pay much attention to it... after the first class it was bad enough... I took some pills hoping it'll be ok... didn't really help ):
I lived through the second class believe it or not... I would have stayed, but I had to write in Literature, so I went home, hoping that I'll just exceed the dozage of the painkillers and have a little nap and I'll be able to go back to school for the Literature (6th class)... yes, but it didnt work... I woke up in the late afternoon still not feeling too good... more painkillers and here I am... I think I'll crawl back under the sheets soon tho :(

Well.......Illu ain't feeling well either.

You may have noticed that I posted the news about my good friend Orc being called to active duty in the Army on the main page. While I back the war, and our military, everything is just hitting a lot closer to home today and it hurts. See, it's not just my buddy Orc, but I also got an email from my sister last night. She's in the Airforce, and while she's still stateside, she could also leave at anytime. Now hopefully this will all done and over before long, cause I really don't wanna see my son, who joined the Navy and is scheduled to leave for bootcamp in October, get in harms way either.

Posting that news, and creating that page for Orc, has got to be one of the saddest things that I've had to do here. It's one thing to see it on the news, and hear about it on the radio, it's a whole nuther thing to say goodbye to friends and family members.

I'm really glad that this thread was created and thanks Kev, I really needed to vent a bit until I get can get home tonight and hold my little girl, my wife, and try and process this a little bit more.

Hmm. I know. I know people who are serving in the Middle East, and it's scary every time I hear about soldiers missing, I think about people I know, or faces that I have seen on the news sending greetings to family and friends.

My day, though, was rather dull (not that that's a bad thing, just a fact). Tonight I will be doing some studying, and tomorrow, I will drive to campus and make a test up. I feel pretty good today, although, I must say that my heart feels heavy for families and friends who have loved ones in the Middle East (or anywhere for that matter). All that said, it is nice to come away from what is going on in "life" and come to this site and talk with others about my favorite topic: LOTR. :)

Well yesterday wasn't such a bad day as such but my friends and I we went and the trains were on strike. :angry: so we had to go in the opposite direction then turn around and go back.

The actual shopping part was ok, though one of my friends was p*ssing me off. Went to see a movie, saw Catch me if you Can, good movie, cleverly done. We were on our way home, and the trains were still all messed up, so had too wait ages and it was very cold. In the end took like 2 hours to get home, when it should have been 45mins. Quite annoyed. But today's going ok. ;)

I've been quite productive this week, with the MoM thingy, members photos, the TTT gallery(update coming this week I hope), etc. and I always feel good when I'm actually getting things accomplished! lol

I do want to thank everyone who patted me on the back and gave me hugs when I dumped in here last week. I've been taught that sharing my feelings, good, bad, or indifferent is healthy. I've also learned that emotions that are stuffed have a tendancy to come back out eventually and when they do, they normally come out sideways, and expressed as inappropriate behaviour. I've come to rely on my friends in both good times and bad and I want you to know that you helped me.

i had some exam results back today..i'm really surprised cos my springboard grade for physics is B and i got A* (they haven't set the grade boudries yet but the teacher said that i would probably get one)!! i'm really happy bout that....

We always have screwey weather here... last Friday, it was like 70 out, but now it's in the 30s and raining & snowing occasionally.

My day kinda sucked yesterday. My Dad was supposed to go to the car auction to get me a truck, (which I'm paying for, but I can't go to the auction) but his friend couldn't get off work so they're going next Tuesday. My Dad's '92 Grand Marquis is constantly breaking down, so he wants to drive mine and I'll be getting a truck instead. I have a '97 Chevy Blazer right now but will be getting a Chevy Silverado next Tuesday (can't wait!).

My day went okay. This Kid yelled at me during Chemistry class because I was sitting in his seat. He went ballistic. I was like chill there are 50 other desks around that you can sit in. The during Biology we made a elephant out of paper machie. We named him Herburt Woods because he is a golfing Elephant. We are going to dress him up and everything. My english class sucked though. My teacher gave us a quiz on stuff that I didn't even know, about poems and junk. It was horrible.

You have daily headaches, too? Ug, sometimes I take six Advil a day. Sorry about YOUR headache, too, LD. :( Taking Advil with something containing caffeine will increase the Advil's potency (just incase you are really in pain and willing to try anythig). 2 things--I think tylenol works better, and I ony have one word for how I feel rightnow:
HYPER!!!!!!!! lol too much chocolate, plus I had fun in religious eduction this evening!! (we skipped actual class so we just had fun!!) one guy was sitting on this really small coffee-table like thing, and he was leaning over to get the trash can, and the table broke!!!! lol was soooo funny!!!!! Then I kept threatening him with my CoverGirl lipcolor (the longlast stuff), and all I had to do was say "Do I have to get the lipgloss out?" and he moved halfway across the room!! lol hahaahah!!!! but then, when he left the room, he turned out the lights on us.... pfbbt little brat!!! anywho, it was funny, cause after that, we locked him outta the room!!! lol hahhaah!!!! My day was pretty good. I was able to work on a site that I've been working on for awhile. Things were actually working! The weather wasn't as nice as it was yesterday so I didn't get to go out today...which kind of sucked...but oh well.

Put two pieces of gum in her hair. The deputy head saw, and asked who did it she didn't say it was me, which was sweet, but today the deputy goes to me 'did you do it? said no, and 'are you telling the truth? yes. Think she suspects me, but she hasn't any proof, I'll probably get in loadsa trouble as I haven't exactly got the best reputation and my record isn't really the cleanest. ;)

Today is great so far! We didn't have school because of the icy roads :) That was VERY unexpected because it was 70 degrees out just last Friday! lol And to top that off, I just got my Oakley Penny sunglasses in the mail yesterday (the ones like Cyclops wears in X2), and they sent me a second pair for free!

Hmmm...today was ok. Good bits and bad bits as always i think. I feel fat but that's nothing newlol I feel v stressed out with school. A-levels are too hard and i have to get three A grades for uni-eek!!! I'm basically teaching myself an extra maths AS as well, which i took upon myself in a moment of complete and utter craziness. My exams start in 6 weeks, which may not sound too bad, but it is!!! ARGH!!! Why cant unis just accept you without the grades? It would be a lot easier and a lot less stressful.:( O but on a good note, I'm getting the joint maths prize-yay!
PS I get headaches all the time too, but i dont know what tylenol or advil are. I assume they are parecetamol type things which is what i take.

I'm tense today! I have outdoor leader training this weekend for Scouts, so I'm camping and at first the weather report said rain all Saturday, then yesterday it said just a little cloudy Saturday and now it's back to rain! I hate camping in the rain! ugh! pfbbt
I also do not cook, even on a stove in a kitchen. But I'm supposed to make dinner for 8 other Leaders (all guys who like to cook outdoors) in the rain on Saturday.

Had a pretty good day today. Last night, though was really great. I got a new CD-ROM drive in the mail (my old one decided to quit) and my brother installed it for me. Then after that, we recorded soundclips from FOTR with his mini disc player (DVD quality surround sound, baby! It's sa-WEET!) Hopefully, we'll be able to put them on my PC later today :)

Oh, Undomiel, Tylenol and Advil are OTC (over the counter) pain relievers. :thumbs:

How likely is it that I won't do any work until the last few days of the holiday - anyone else do the same? I tend to get distracted by writing appalingly bad poems or sitting staring at space for hours. Wallpaper can become quite mesmerising.
Anyway, I have to go babysitting tomorrow so I'm going to go and do something productive like proof reading chapter 5 of Marchwarden or staring aimlessly at the wall, paint can become quite mesmerising!

I am tired and chilled. I went visiting family for the week and worried soo much about forgetting things that I dreamed about worrying too much!! So I slept little! But I am well. I glad to see that everyone here is having a fair Friday. It's been raining too so there is the reason for the chill. Yes, Celebrian, my headaches are daily and bad enough that they are disabling. I too take up to 6 Advil (sometimes 8). My doctors are trying everything from Seizure meds to Imitrex. I also have other headache troubles too but there are worse things in the world to worry about. I miss my kitty cause she had to stay home while I traveled....:( pfbbt :(

Sounds exactly like what i do!!! I plan to do work on a certain day. I sit down and do like 10 minutes. and then i think "oo i'll just go get a drink" then i dont go back :blush: It comes to the end of the hols and i havent sone anything so i run round swearing alot trying to get it all done lol

Today is a great day. My friends are coming over for dinner and we are going to hang out and watch movies and just swap gossip. After that we are going bowling. Lets see i have lots of stuff to do but I guess I can put my homework off till later lol

hmmm... i wouldnt say i love maths, but the thing that makes people think I'm mad is that i've applied to do Physics at uni lol so maths is part of the deal i guess. I hate fire drills. I had to go to a Higher Education Convention today... the coach seemed to be broken, it kept going at about 10mph for some reason lol Well we finally got there, and I picked up a load of prospectuses. I've been trying to figure out if I can make "subtopics" with Frontpage, or if I need some extra gadget. I've made my site with a frameset containing banner, navbar and maintext. I want my navbar to have those little arrows on the right side, and a little box with subtopics to pop up when mouse over each topic. Is that possible? Can't find it in any of my books, and searching through "help" hasn't been fruitful...neither has trying everything on the various menu's and toolbars...I swear my hair is turning grey! :(

If I'm bad at explaining what I want, you get those boxes in standard windows tool bars as well..f.ex. in "file" you get "new" and then a number of choices when mouse over.

Anybody wise out there who knows how to do this, or perhaps what gadget I should get to do it?:grin:

I know what you mean Cuiel, and I'm not quite sure you can get them in FrontPage. I would love something like that too on my website, but for now I'm sticking to a table layout and the sections are more like lists rather than mouseovers. I know that if you install PostNuke you can do this however, though this will basically take away the use of FrontPage!

yep! you need to get some patches for the functions.php file but it should work fine! amke sure you go to www.tripod.lycos.co.uk rather than .com as the .co.uk supports php and mysql whereas the other doesn't seem too...kinda weird...

BG, what version of Frontpage do you use? I'm in my final days of the 2000 trial version, which ofcourse is outdated, same as the trial version for 2002. I'm getting some info on 2003, but can't seem to determine if it's got what i need.

Okay well today was areally long day for me. We had to take this test called the MCAS today. It is a standarzed test that everyone in the state of Massachusetts has to take and pass to graduate. We started it today by taking the English long compisition. The question was Pick a certain novel and explain why the main character changed from the beginning of the story to the end. I of course choose Lord of the Rings. Actually it was a pretty good book to choose since Frodo really did change a lot from the beginning until the end. The test took like four hours with a 10 minute break in between each session. We had to write a rough draft and then copy that over and revise it into a final copy. I wrote so small and was scaried that I would run out of room but lucky I didn't. The kid sitting across from me was like really nervous or something. Everytime he would erase the whole take would shake so you would have to wait till he was done to start writing again. Also everytime he got up or sat down the table would shake. It was kind of annoying, although I did by accident kick him a few times. Normally I would have yelled at him for causing so much chaos but first off he looked nervous enough, i was wicked nervous, and I have a crush on him so i didn't want him to get mad at me. The rest of my day went well. Had like two classes and painted our paper machie projects in one and just discussed a poem in another. All in all it wasn't too bad of a day. Of course that was only the first part of the MCAS. We have like 4 more sections to take in May. I tell ya, there is always something to look forward too. lol

my day was pretty good. Last day of term and all. Plus it was the 6th form swimming gala, with lots of crazy races, and stupid stuff like making pyramids. It was upper 6th v Lower 6th. It was really funny and the best bit was when this guy from my year pushed our year head into the swimming pool fully clothed lol you should have seen his face!!!!! roflmao still he laughed in the end :grin:

So I had a very "hobbitish" day at work : instead of working I read a book :grin: then I had a longer pause for eating than usual, :grin: and I finished by going out earlier to go to the hair dresser where I made me curled in a Pippin style ! :lol:
(there was quite a time I wanted to do that but was anxious for the result. And today... I dared and did it !)

Today was pretty good. I got my Microeconomics exam back, and I didn't do as badly as I thoguht. :grin: So I was excited about that. And now that I'm back from a Management group meeting, my weekend has officially started! :whoohoo: I don't know what I'll do. I know I wanna hit the mall and do some Easter shopping, but other than that, I don't know. It would be nice to have a relaxing weekend-maybe do some reading/writing, but my brother has a "band" and there's no telling when they might decide to come over and bring down our house literally! pfbbt I can't complain much, though, I'm too thrilled that I didn't bomb that Economics test! :grin:

we only pay on average £2.20 here for a pint so its alot less by the sounds of things. 20 pints is a tiny amount for me really, i had a bike crash last year and i went through a bit of depression, i was drinking on average 14 pints a day and more when i wasn't at work, as you can see, a big improvement. :)

i play football, i run, i do a little kickboxing but thats just for excercise and i box a bit. :)

it was a strange thing to be in actually, i got on with everything well but i just drank like a fish and acted like a bit of a dick, i ended up taking 4 months off work with the injuries but a month of that was me just having time off to go to australia. lol

i'm actually a health and safety manager at a pretty big firm, i'm one of only 12 people qualified in what it is i do so i can get consultancy work, hence the travelling, i went to crprus, the czech republic, belgium and dublin last year through work. :)

sounds great...Iceland is really inhabited by norwegians,you know...most of their ancestors imigrated from Norway appr. a 1000 years ago, cuz they didn't want to be christened...but don't worry, they finally gave in! No Tor and Odin anymore! They also have a special, small horse, which has a special pace...its supposed to be very pleasant, so if you like horses be sure to have a go at that too! Be ware of the islandic gastronomic specialities tho, some of them can be compared to the more suspicious stuff in Ru's!pfbbt

(but I have to do revision pfbbt ) I had to do an essay today as well, and it was on my least fave text, The Glass Menagerie :( oh well! The last lesson was a dos cos it was the last lesson and nobody could be bothered anymore! lol

Well today i am rest going to hang out. I have ahd way to busy of a week. Friday i spent the whole day shopping and stuff. Then yesterday was my busiest day of all. I woke up at 8:30 and took a shower. Then I had to go to the mall to get shoes, a shirt, and a sweater. After that at noon i got my nails done, then at 2 I ahd my hair done, and then I had to get ready for my Ring Dance. A Ring Dance is a dance where we recieve our class rings. We rae one of the only schools to have one. We were paired up two by two (boy, girl) and unforuntaly we run out of guys. So since I was like the tallest one there I had to walk down the alsie with a girl. Lucky the girl I walked with was one of my best friends. Hobbitfriend got paired up with the tallest guy in our grade lol. She looked a little short next to him lol. The we walked on to the stage and got our rings and had a dance after it. The dance was fun in the beginning. Everyone was there are we were having a great time. Everyone was dancing and I was even going to ask this guy that I liked if he wanted to dance but never got a chance too. By 8:30 everyone had left and only like 10 people remained, they were already starting to clean up. My friends and I ended up leaving and going out to eat. Well today I am just doing homework adn packing. I leave tomorrow at 6:30 for New York City, so i will be a way for afew days and won't get to post. :(. Oh well talk you guys in a few days.

it was soo cool (fame academy i mean!!) ok...Ainslie was even hotter than usual (no mean feat!!) and they did this acoustic version of you really got me (by the kinks) (although it wasn't as good as when Ainslie did it on his own on TV!!).

and then...to top it all of...for the encore...they did...wait for it...a U2 Medley!!!!! i was almost hysterical by the end!! lol

the girls weren't that good though...i dunno..they all had really shrill voices...it got kinda annoying after a while. and i don't like lemarr...he managed to make 'happy birthday' last about 5 minutes!! lol

David Sneddon was better than on TV though.....he was quite good....rather unexpected! lol

i can't really describe anyone elses singing since i don't know who's who...except mali (maybe spelt Marli?) she was good...

i wouldn't take too much note of what your prof says Celebrian, do enough to pass obviously but theres not too much that can be taught about management. i went on a management course and i was told that i can't be doing my job properly because my stress levels we're non-existant. the teacher was very wrong, my department is at its most productive now. :huh:

I'm so exhausted. No one should follow my lifestyle. lol Although i'm sure lots of people do. It was my friend's birthday on Sunday so we went out then, and then on Monday one of my friends threw a surprise thing for him so i was out till 2.30AM and then when i got home i made my mums b'day card. The worst thing was that i couldnt sleep. It's unseasonally hot and i was really restless. Then i got up early yesterday for my mum's b'day and we trooped off to Manchester and when out for a meal and stuff and then in the evening i went to my friends coz he was throwing himself a party this time and i stayed up late again and i had way too much to drink. Oh dear. And then i couldnt sleep so i got up at 8.30 this morning even though it's the holidays. Then i went out and then i went to work-Argh!!!
