Hey, I might type alot here so if u wish not to read it (like me, i hate reading) u dont have to...... lol

Ok so, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an Rpg/Adventure game, and the different places u can go is amazing!! There is also tons of quests and things to do, there is even about 12 guilds to report to. Anyway, at the begining there is a HUGE variety of races, class's, skills to choose from, and the story is really cool too. Like, the main quest is huge (i havent beenten it even though its been out for like a year)......also, the side quests r "un-imaginable", and if u r one of those "love the weapons and armour" (like me) then u will like this game, because it has a very wide variety of weapons, armour, sheilds, helmets, boots, gauntlets, even.....shoulder armour (pauldrons), waist-to-knee armour (greeves), u can even have like, hats, chothes, robes, gloves, shoes...."u know, for the Mage/Wisard type people". By the way, in this game u can pick up, interact, use, do about anything with anything in this game. And if u just wanna mess around and have fun, then u can easily just walk into someones house, talk to them, and if they dont like u.......u can beat them up, steal thier stuff, run from the law, and even kill the king of morrowind (very very funny when u do) lol . So, thats about all for my description...

Anyway i thought i might do this for all the people that read it......but, i dont think anyones gunna reply to this thread......

Morrowind is awesome, isn't it Isilgorn? It's completely free-roaming! I'm a Khajit (can't remember how to spell it) and I use magic rather than weapons cos I can't really figure out how to use them lol My fave part is walking out in the countryside when it turns into a starry night and it's really beautiful and peaceful... sigh...

I played Morrowind on my friend's XBOX 2day and I'm totally addicted. But, I don't have an XBOX. My PC is a Celeron 700 MhZ with 384 MB of RAM and Intel Integrated Graphics. Does anyone who has it think i can run it on my PC?
Thanks!

I'm not sure whether it will run, you'll have to check the game's minimum requirements. This is what I found:
Windows
Minimum CPU Class Required Pentium III
Minimum OS Class Required Windows 98
Minimum RAM required 128 megabytes
Minimum CD Speed Required 8X
Input Devices Supported Keyboard, Mouse
Drivers/APIs Supported DirectX 8
Miscellaneous Attributes Requires 3D Accelerator

There's a new expansion out called Bloodmoon, where you can become a werewolf! Sounds like a nice twist!

I love morrowind I have a level 24 Nord with a really cool sword and a mixture off ebony and deadric armor. Who doesn't love The Elder Scrolls 3:Morrowind and its even better with the Tribunal expansion pack I hate helseth. Oh and morrowind copys lord of the rings a lot example "Dagoth Ur the evil lord is trying to kill everyone with his evil hordes of evil creatures so the inhabitents of morrowind band togather and fight for the freedom of Morrowind on the slopes of Red Mountain sound familer?

That's part of the appeal for me, Tary. A lot of it does feel like you're trekking through Middle-Earth! I like being a Khajit because they look different to most of the other species, and I like their stealth aspect. I always use magical combat over physical combat - which do you prefer?

Morrowind was pretty cool. Alittle to slow for me but I did enjoy the giganteousness(is that a word?) of the world. I especially like the fact that everything is interactive. Tribunal was pretty small but the Bloodmoon expansion looks very interesting. (warewolves yeah! ;) )

There is a thread in this forum somewhere with a link to the official site for the LOTR mod, which I think is due out near christmas this year.

Morrowind is one of the best games I've ever played!

I'm a level 71 Dunmer, (Dark-elf) with a sword called Umbra, an enchanted Ebony Claymore.

Since I'm playing the x-box version, I have ton wait 'till fall, 'till I get the expansions: Tribunal and Bloodmoon.mecry

Level 71?! Wow! :o That must be a strong character! One of the things I like about Morrowind is being able to build up your reputation and having more and more characters recognise you...I also like bribing people to give me information lol

What a fun game! Definitely has a feeling of Tolkein's middle-earth in it. Of course the name of my first character was Aragorn.

I haven't played it for such a long time now...did anyone else have problems with it loading incredibly slowly? It's such a huge game, I remember having to delete loads of games to make room for it lol

P.S. Welcome to WoTR, Ramble On! Glad you decided to visit the PC and Console Games forum! :)
