View Full Version : Sometimes I get lonely......

Sometimes I get lonely........can you be a person for me to tell my troubles to, a good friend? Mostly I am lonely because I don't have a boyfriend, but that is really stupid for me to feel that way at my age. Sometimes I cry for no reason. Do you? Will you be my shoulder to cry on? If you will, I'll be your shoulder to cry on.

I suppose what you really need is a friend of your own age...not another motherfigure! But I haven't forgotten what I felt like at your age, hon, it can be a real sore time. I'll listen if you will, and if you get a better offer I won't be crossed! I just think we should be around when in need!:cuddles:

awww.....poor Bele.....when i was that age (it was only a year ago) i just started to freel better about being me, the year before that was the worst year of my life so far, i was thinking bout runnning away (luckily my logical side prevented that) and i was really depressed,i seem to have gotten over that now but there are times i still feel like the world is against me (im not paranoid.....) and it can be quite hard...luckily all i have to do is stick on a CD and i forget everything....dependning on what CD it is....if its guns n' roses it generally makes me feel more angry.....

I know that this may not be very much comfort (not to mention ever so slightly annoying in that 'old person telling you stuff' kind of way - sorry we can't help it, we get a special guide book telling us we have to do it when we turn 30 ;)) but what you are going through sounds absolutely normal for someone your age. It is a huge time of change and emotional growth. It is perfectly ordinary that you should feel very lonely at times and sad for no reason at times. Hang on in there  It does tend to get better - and (another annoying old person comment on the way) - try and remember that you have plenty of time, the boyfriends will happen at the right time - don't feel you have to be in a mad rush. Sorry Bele  tedious grown up advice session over lol

its true tho........and believe me........NO one was as horrified as me to find out all that tedious stuff that people had been telling me for all those years, was perfectly true..............you just need to hang in there.......as a very good friend of mine once said to me when i was so down that id just about given it away.........."focus on the good stuff"..............and i was like "what good stuff?" and he said............"well........youre breathing..........thats a start isnt it?" lol

lol Thanks for all your supposrt guys! I reall appreciate it  Yeah, lots of stupid teenaged hormones! heh So, I kind of picture this thread as becoming the 'i come here to blow of steam and for advice and friendly talks' type of thread ;) does that work for you all?

I can understand that too. Sometimes I do feel lonely for like no rhyme or reason. It's not cuz I haven't got a boyfriend though. I don't really care for one. Maybe it's just cuz sometimes I feel that no one really understands me. And my best friend and other good friends are in other schools. We don't get to see each other often...
Anyway, feel free to PM me and flood my inbox with mecry s. Or just go to the wotr chatroom to chat :)

Bele, Winy, all I can give you guys is that same old lecturing kind of, well, cr*p that every other adult would give you. I remember that hearing that what you're going through is normal, that you'll get over it, that everybody goes through it, doesn't really help or make you feel better.
It's all annoyingly true, but those redundant phrases can make you feel like no one really understands or is listening, or they would know that what you are going through doesn't feel normal, or is anything that you'll just get over.
You've both got a ton of friends here, and I'm sure that even though you'll go through periods where you feel so different from your real life friends, like not even they get it, they are dying to unload on you, too. So speak up, the worst thing is to keep it inside. We promise to listen if you promise to share - Deal?

We love ya, babes! *big hug*

Well officially it's a secret ... I'm not supposed to tell you or else the 'responsible adult police' will come and take me away ... but yes ... wherever you are around the globe it arrives the morning of your 30th birthday and you absolutely HAVE to use it ;)

Bonos-Girl
March 27th,2003, 08:11 PM
lol...so they translate it into different languages!? interesting! do you get one book with all languages in or are they seperate books?

Mirkgirl
March 27th,2003, 08:16 PM
Im not supposed to know it, BG..... but it's just pictures, no words...

Bonos-Girl
March 27th,2003, 08:19 PM
thanks Mirky! lol...i guess its a lot easier that way...but it makes a complication, how comes every adult uses the same phrase? or is that a different book entitled "the adult phrase book - English"?

pictures can cause a lot of confuzzlement...has anyone else seen the US government pictures teliung you what to do in an emergancy? has anyone seen the funny captions for them? they are brilliant!! lol

Mirkgirl
March 27th,2003, 08:29 PM
well those pics have been around since forever... once people woke up one day and the walls in their caves where covered with those pics... and they used exactly the same words even then... guess they just work

btw no I havent seen them... is there a link?

Bonos-Girl
March 27th,2003, 08:46 PM
i've got it bookmarked at school, the real one, but i have a smaller version which conatins some of the captions...ill just go find the email.....
*scampers off.....*
awww...can't find it....i'll post it either tonight if i find it or tyomorrow from school...they are so amusing! lol

*edit*...ok found here it is (http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=46223&perpage=25&pagenumber=1)

that should work....be warned, there is one swear word in the second post and a few of the captions further down are slightly rude...

Heh heh! BG, that was really funny! Cheers for that, had me laughing like a drain (never did get that metaphor, but never mind)... Any more silly links like that?
Oh, and to make this relevant to the thread, guys and gals, dont worry. NO-ONE can feel as bad as I do about myself! I havent had any 'action' for almost 2 and a half years now, and it looks like a trend that is set to run and run! So poor me!mecry

Hey Bele, I gotta tell you something, my little sister used to feel that way when she was your age. Jr High and High School sometimes were lonley times for her but she made it through because of loyal friends she could trust no matter what. She turns 22 this year and she is happily married and trying to have kids so there is no need to worry about being alone. As for crying for no reason, I have to say I can relate to that personally. There are many things one can say to help you through that but it takes so much more then words to make everything all better....Consider my shoulder free reign....if you need it...;)Take care..

I remember when I was in 8th grade, it was actually quite a good year, we weren't the new freshman and there wasn't loadsa silly exams which I'm getting now.
Anyways, I feel like that quite a lot, when some of my friends are seriously bugging me and work just kills, and there are loads of exams coming up, I normally either just sleep on it, or go a get a big hug from someone. ;) :cuddles:

Heehee Well, when I've got lots of stuff like projects and things, i rarely sleep well. It really sucks, but lately despite some of the projects and tests that I've just had to do, I have been sleeping pretty well, that is when I do get to bed which is prolly late since i'm more of a night person ;)

well, while you're on the soggy shoulder search, does anybody want to talk my momma into taking the password of the computer (the one that comes up when you turn the computer on) please, no one suggest hitting cancel, my computer does't give me that option. It doesn't really matter, I just would like to be able to get online when I get home every now and then. but 8th grade is annoying. esspecially when you went to a private catholic school for the 8years before that..... so I've gone to a private skool for 9 years... :o scaaaary thought!!! lol not really...Public skool isn't that much of a change..... okay, I'm actually not even feeling sorry for myself with this lame argument!!! lol
