Thanks to Illuvatar, I can now feel free to ask this. So I pose the question to anyone. What is you fave TCG? What's the reason for liking that TCG? It could be anything, really! I know people who enjoy a particular game style whilst others actually prefer the artwork, or just like to collect that particular type of card.
Okay thats enough question asking,
Igtica :) ^_^

Well, I've played a few TCG's. Tomb Raider, Young Jedi, BattleTech and now LOTR, and the best out of those is the LOTR TCG. Really. Second has to be the BattleTech one. The only thing with the LOTR one is that I don't agree with how they did the strengths for characters and baddies too. They don't make sense to me. But it's the game set-up (and such) in general that makes the TCG so good. The cards have beautiful pictures on them and are well-made. But, actually, it's the same with the other ones. What do you think of the normal trading cards, the ones by Topps. I think they're nice too, I got the 90 card original set of the first movie, but no speacial cards. But I'm told the original FOTR ones were hard to find...is that true? I don't think, but ya never know!

I haven't played the LOTR TCG against anyone, but I would love to! It's a shame though, because nobody in my area would want to play with me...:(

Yeah, all the people where I live play Yu-gi-oh! Ugh! *vomits* Sorry. I just recruit my brother and my dad. lol I also just enjoy collecting them, I've always liked collecting things, trying to get rare ones and trade and just stare at them! roflmao You should try it. Really, you can buy any of the starter decks. It comes with enough cards for decks for two people (though there isn't any diversity in cards) and rules. You can even buy one of the starters for the new Battle of Helms Deep set, the only difference is that there are a few additions of rules and such, but it still has all the basic ones and in the rulebook that comes in it. Okey?

I've never tried Yu-Gi-Oh and don't intend to. I have no interest in the anime. My fave type of cards are ones which are collectable as well as playable, and I must admit, I do have a soft spot for holos! lol
