Well the war of the consoles continues. Its a major battle between Gamecube, Xbox and PS2. So obviously people have their fave. Mostly due to owing that console, but is it because you think the variety of games avaliable is better, the quality of games are better or the graphics of the console are better. These points and many more are argued out so what do you think.

Igtica [Nintendo fan because of Pokemon mostly, but have PS2 in household, as well as GC, which has superbe games]

I vote GameCube :thumbs:
Because IMO Nintendo make the best and most original games! Even though they are more expensive they are worth the money and I recommend it to anyone :grin:

Gamecube. I've been Nintendo for as long as i can remember. Having a SNES, Game boy, N64 and now gamecube.

I voted for Gamecube. :thumbs:

Although I'm a fan of the Playstation consoles, I've been a devoted Nintendo gamer since the NES debuted in 1985.

Wahey more Ninty fans! :grin: I've always loved the Legend of Zelda series, and I'm really looking forward to Zelda: Wind Waker on GameCube. I also own an N64, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance, and have played on a NES/SNES.

Cn't deny the greatness of MEtroid Prime and sure to be the best game ever: Zelda Wind Waker :)

Yeah TRB I am so looking forward to that! :thumbs: OOT was absolutely awesome - my fave game ever! I especially like riding across Hyrule Field on Epona... feels like something just like out of LOTR :)

I love Epona! My one of my fave bits on the Ocarina of Time is jumping over the fence on Epona and galloping around Hyrule in Victory! Wind Waker's cell-shading will be a change! I think it looks great! Can't wait to play it. It's gonna be great. But I'm afraid there is only one game that rule supreme! And we all know it!

I know what you're talking about, Igtica. ;)
I loved the music in OOT: hopefully there will be some echoes of themes like Hyrule Field and Gerudo Valley in the Wind Waker. The music was really classical, and I loved Saria's Song and Zelda's Lullaby... although short, they really encaptured the moment... it's amazing how video games can just "suck you in" sometimes, isn't it! :thumbs:

I'm whole heartedly a PC fan. Computers are upgradeable and I am so use the the interface that I would have considerable trouble adapting to a game pad. Also the last time I played a console was atleast ten years ago.
It is really a bummer that alot of games only come out for consoles (Halo, EA's LotR, MoH front line, etc.). But some of them, like Halo, do come out for PC eventually.
