Hey! I'm having problems with my email notification option. Even when I've unchecked the option to receive email notifications and even notices from mods and bulletin boards under 'Options', and the box that says 'emails sent to you whenever someone replies' under the box where I post replies, I'm still receiving them! Lots and lots in fact, since I post so much everyday, and they are totally flooding my inbox!!! :o
This has happened before a couple of times but the problem always ceases after some time. Now it's starting up again. Pls advise me on what I should do to block out all the emails, otherwise I'll have to get a new email add! :(

You must unsubscribe from the threads you are currently subscribed to, and set the "email notification for threads you have participated in" to NO....this will prevent you from being automatically subscribed to any more threads.

Ditto.....

Even once you set "Email-Notification" to no, you'll need to go to your options under "Subscribed Forums/Threads" and manually un-subscribe for all the threads that you posted in prior to turning the notication off.

Let us know if this takes care of it!

Ok, it's totally not working. I unsubscribed from everything, checked the option for not receiving email notifications, and re-subscribed everything, and the mails are back again. Never mind, I'll get a new email add. I needed one anyway. Now can anyone tell me where can I get a domain which is lotr related?

Wait a sec Win....

You "resubscribed everything"? Well, if I read that right, then you will get mails for everything that you resubscribed too!

maybe she meant that she resubcribed all the threads she wanted to be subscribed to...

yes that's what I did. Easier for me to reply to my posts too. Why? I've done that before but my inbox doesn't get flooded anyway. And now the problem's coming back :(

Well Win, considering the amount of your posts and the fact that you post in quite poplular game threads, I could see where your box could get flooded rather quickly. I would say that you probo need to make a choice, either submit to the power of email notification or unsubscribe completely! lol
