WotR Friendship Dedication Thread

Here's the place for anyone who wants to express their thanks or appreciation to your friends in WotR. True, we're all one big family, but surely there are some who really make you feel at home, though you may not even know their real names or where they are from. It doesn't matter if the person doesn't get to read your dedication. The most important thing is you get to express your feelings. :thumbs:

So I'll start off first...
I've only registered in Jan 2003 and I suppos I could be considered a newbie... but there are many who have sort of helped me settle down here, so that I become so addicted to the forums... lol

Hezzy (Herenye): It's always nice to get to know a fellow Leggy fan lol In fact I remembered you were the very first person I added to my buddy list :thumbs:

Adun (Adunauriel): Thanks so much for always trying your very best to answer my queries about LOTR. You're truly what I call a role model member of WotR :thumbs:

Beleglotiel: Though you're a tad too possessive lol and a little cranky perhaps (J/K!!!) but well, we share the same interest on a certain hot elf!

Members of ED's messhall, namely ALL (Aragorn's Latest Lay), ED (Elfdaughter), Ruby (ERC) and Nala Greenleaf: It's great fun chatting with you guys and talking about all kinds of silly stuff in the Mess Hall! lol

kenz (kenzie) and luvara (love_aragorn): We've had fun discussing about who's better, Legolas or Aragorn, haven't we? ;) With all the tomato wars and all... lol

Cel (Celebrian): Sigh... we never get to go online at the same time so we don't have much opportunity to chat. But it's great to read your posts and get to know your insights about our fave race :thumbs:

Nari (Narisunell): Thanks for your encouraging reviews of my fanfic. And we do share our love for the same characters, don't we? Legolas and Frodo :)

BG (Bonos-Girl): Just got to start interacting with you recently, but you're really great to talk too. Love Ru's Eatery too. :thumbs:

My 'colleagues' at ME labs: Kenz, Aranel, ED, Eowyn, Arwen Undomiel: You guys make the ME labs a happening and cool place!

Thanks Illu for all the times you have helped me put with stuff on site, and for not loosing patiance when l've lapsed into 'completely dense' mode, for allowing me the chance to give something back this wonderful site by making me a Mod and for being such a fantaistc overlord and deity....even if you do make me work overtime :p

Thanks also the kitty Catz for suporting my request to help out as mod for Games....it may be exhausting but it's also great fun. and also for all her advice and help.

I just know I'll miss someone out if I start at all but here goes (to avoid any fights, I am listing these in no particular order). Big hugs and thanks to : -

Lalaith - for putting up with me here and being a true friend and a source of encouragement for fic-writing.

Ranger - again for putting up with me here and in chat and for allowing me the privelage of previewing some of her fics (and for I shared love of Michael Shanks natch!)

Lady Aerowen - for so many things including being a friend to me in times of trouble and for being my part-time muse for fan fic.

Mirky, in chat, for being so friendly and welcoming and only kicking me off in jest (I hope), Thanks also for letting me back on (although admittedly this may have had more to do with my irc's auto-reconnect feature). Actually, thanks to everyone in chat who has been so nice and welcoming. (if I start listing all of them, I am bound to forget someone so I shall simply say I include amongst these, all those who have not tried to verbally bash my head in - there are more of these nice people than you may think)

To everyone who has read and/or reviewed my fic and been so supportive and, in more recent times, patient for the new chapters. Won't be long now, I swear.

Celebrian One of my most encouraging friends! Says the nicest things, and is utterly deserving of much praise! (Not to mention the fact that she shares her name with my favourite female Elf!)

Dawnnamira Ah, what can I say? Mistress of Isengard, tormenter of Haldir, and a damn cool person!

Bess the Bard The writer of some exquisite stories, and too kind in her reviews of mine. I cannot stress how much I respect her!

Thanks to all at the 'New fanfic section?' thread who encouraged me to post what would otherwise have remained a few scribbled ideas in a purple notebook. It is now planned to be about 26 chapters long!

To Bele for her fics and the spirited Legolinde. To Goldie and the first fic I followed, the one that encouraged me to review.

I should really look at this thread more often, and put down how wonderful peeps are. To tell the truth everyones so wonderful here, it's quite difficult to single people out. I have to say a special thanks to everyone with an interest in my game Survivor! I was afraid to put it up intially! I finished the 3rd book today and it rocks...better than the 1st and 2nd...I've only stopped at page 10 on the 4th book, but that will be all for today....don't have time to read more...I read about 300 pages yesterday and it pooped me out for the day after lol
