we used to have a program here that covered rural issues......and they did a few classics........i think my faves were the one about the fencers who played(as in instruments lol) fences..........and the one about the guy who got better weight gains on his turkeys, by keeping their feet dry..........he did this by giving them little gumboots(wellingtons)

Ok, this will not help you one bit, but just wanna share what my local paper did on one April Fool's Day.
In my country, the local paper had an article saying that oil was discovered on an offshore island belonging to my country. So all those contractors and major projects works were like 'Oh my God! Oil!' so they rushed off with all the stuff to locate the oil, and bummer, there was no oil!
After that, the local paper said it was just an april fool's joke, and everyone was so shocked cuz the local paper was only known to report on important and REAL issues and never to play pranks on the community! lollollol

Any april fools thngs we have done today have been soooooooo terrible and a complete anti-climax! We all planned to do really cool things but we ended up either facing backwards and being asked by our teacher why we didn't come up with anything better.....lol.....or hiding under the tables and having our maths teacher look just a tad more confused than usual in our lesson. roflmao

the maths thing was quite funny though...she kinda played along with out april fools.....we were desperate though...we had half and hour til april fools was over so we had to do something!! lol

so it's deffinitely post-april fools madness here and these were the only things i had head about so far...
someone released a chicken in one of the bathrooms...
and these two people converted the chorus room to a day care center with signs for 'art room' and 'play dooh' and a "day care center" sign on the wall. only because the director gets fed up with us and always says, "what am i babysitting you?"

veeery boring april fools day this year. No pranks no nothing. Last year one of my collegues stole the commercial- tape from the shoppingmall leader, changed it into some complete nonsense and played it over the speakers at work. She was mad as a dog at first.lol roflmao roflmao
worst thing I ever did was sowing a pink elephant to the rear end of my fathers beige outdoor jacket, which he wore for an hour or so, trying his best to ignore the comments from whoever he met, til he got to his office and could check whether it was a collective joke or not. Still don't know how he figured out I was the guilty party!? Must have been the excellent handiwork.lol

lol Cuiel.
its probably easier playing jokes when you're a teacher...they can tell us off and give us detention. we cant do the same to them so they an be as evil as they like!!

Nope no jokes this year. I tried one on IM last night but the guy had to get off before I could fully work it out. Oh well.

The best one I ever pulled was to send out pregnancy announcements when I was a freshman in college. I sent them out so they were postmarked April 1, but delivered afterwards, so no one made the connection. :naughty:
But I finally got some phone calls from friends I hadn't heard from in a while! lol

Little Devil
April 2nd,2003, 11:18 PM
Loadsa people fell for this joke me and my friends did at school, a girl won some bath suds that are like tiny green balls, and we've been going round saying there sweets and getting people to eat them. I gave a big handful to my teacher and he was about to eat it, when I told him what it was, cos it wouldn't exactly be that funny if he started foaming at the mouth. lol  ;)

TorN posted on the front page that ROTK was being release on May 12, 2004 instead. It was all official and everything. I didn't know it was a joke until Illuvatar told me. I missed the giant APRIL FOOL letters at the bottom.
Scared me half out of my wits, it did. lol

What's it about? Orlando getting married, cos there was that one.

Didn't play any jokes, but fell hard for not one but two.
First one of my teachers had our whole class convinced that we would have to come up with a ceremonial dance representing our heritage and present it in front of the school! He told us it was a joke after we prepared for about an hour. lol
At the end of the day (I had pretty much forgotten it was April Fool's) my friends got me pretty good. They've been dangling the name of a guy who 'likes' me for a few weeks now and I've been pretending not to care. In reality I really would like to know and I was pestering them so they told me to guess letters until I came up with it. I ended up with a name with four T's, three O's and two B's. I actually went home and hunted for a name like that in the yearbook. I only realized this morning how stupid I was being. lol
