Swords from TTT

I was wondering if some new swords were out yet. I am awaiting Eowyn's sword mostly, but I'd like to see if they might to and Elvish sword, among others. Has anyone seen anything? Also, any rumors about the possibility of some armor coming out? Or is that stupid to even hope for? I am not good at keeping up with things, I would be eternally grateful for any help I might receive.:)

Right now, the only new swords that are out are:

Uruk-Hai Scimitar
Hadhafang - Arwen's sword

UC plans to come out with the Elven Warrior Sword next! Hopefully, by August. *crossing fingers*

Unfortunately, the Rohrihim swords aren't scheduled to be released summer 2004. *sigh* Its a long wait!

By now most of you have probably seen The Two Towers and were as blown away by it as I was. The only problem I had with it is that I wanted MORE! Three hours was not enough. Gollum and Treebeard were dead on and the destruction of Isengard and the Helm’s Deep battle were incredible.

I want to know what you thought of the swords. Below are my picks for UC to reproduce, in order of importance. Let me know your thoughts and keep in mind that Aragorn’s ranger sword and the Uruk-Hai sword are on their way already.

Aragorn’s Elven dagger/short sword and Legolas’ Elven daggers are at the top of my list
Herugrim – King Theoden’s sword
Haldir’s sword - Sort of a cross between Arwen’s sword and the Elven warrioir sword from FOTR.
Elven archer’s sword – Same as the FOTR prologue sword
Eowyn’s sword - another horse guard sword like Theoden's but more stylish.
Faramir’s sword
Guthwine – Eomer’s sword. Similar to Theoden's but the guard is not as ornate.
Rohan sword – The one Aragorn said was a "good sword" at Helm’s Deep to the kid going into battle. The Rohan soldiers all carried similar swords. Reminiscent of a gladius sword.
Uruk-Hau Berserker sword – The long two-handed sword with the t-spiked top used to dispatch Haldir.
Grishnakh's sword

I know most of these went by quickly and you will have to see the film a few more times to stop and look at them all but I thought I would get a discussion started. Did anyone catch that the Nazgul who tried to get the ring from Frodo at Osgiliath was wearing the same Ringwraith sword from FOTR?

Those are in order of importance, but feel free to let me know where I am wrong :) Maybe Swordsman can start a poll. The retail costs for many of these products will be higher than the swords due to the complicated manufacturing methods used, especially the helmets. Most of these will be more or less hand made, in limited production runs of 1500-3000 pieces each.

SWORDS - I can confirm we will be making strider's Elven dagger with sheath, Legolas' daggers with sheath, and the Elven warrior sword, all from TTT. I have NO ship date info as of yet but I thought I would let everyone here know.

Theoden's sword may be next on that list but we are still evaluating it as well as Eowyn's and Eomer's. The interest for the Rohirrim swords has been mixed. People either like them or dislike them. Not much in between. All three will get more play in Return of the King, so there is always time. Those are not the only swords we will make from TTT. Just the start.

Wow! Thankyou, Voro! I didn't know about a lot of that stuff...I almost wish I still didn't! Argh! Hard decisions! Elven sword? Eowyn's sword? Elven shield? Sauron's mace? Eleven helm? Sauron's helm? I am torn! Torn into six pieces! I must check prices and see what I can even afford. I've, luckiy, been saving my money...soooo...hmmmmmm...

Anyway, thanks for the detailed info! Should we atart talking about WoT here too?lol

Oh, I forgot the Witch King crown! That would be cool...

Maybe we'll talk about "interesting" armor and your pics of Arwen and Eowyn...suggestive theming!!! Can I say that? "Theming"?
