How many are there?

How many Unfinished Tales books are there? I only started reading Tolkien's books this Summer Vacation and so far I've only finished the LOTR series and The Hobbit (I finished it yesterday)
So I'd like to know of how many Unfinished books there are, hmm I think they are lised on the first pages of his books...They are all joined in one book, aren't they? If not, then in which book did he write the epilogue to the LOTR where it talks about Sam telling his little daughter about Frodo and such?:)

Well the Unfinished Tales is one book... There are 12 (I think) volumes of HoME (History of Middle-Earth) which starts with the Book of Lost Tales

Maybe there is some edition where the UT is divided in two or more books tho I can't be sure... especially if you mean translations

I thought it was 14 for HOME. Let's see, there's the Lost Tales 1 & 2, the Lays of Beleriand, the Shaping of Middle-earth, the Lost Road and other Writings, the Return of the Shadow, the Treason of Isengard...um...(those are the ones I own, though I'm still on Lost Tales 2). The easy thing to do here would be run to the basement, to my bedroom, and get my book and look at the list, but I'm too lazy to do that. Sauron Defeated is one, that's 8, and isn't there one called the War of the Ring? 9. Oh I don't know, but I could've sworn there was 14, I'll check the next time I'm in my room.
