Multiplayer Games

What are everyone's fave multiplayer games? They can be on any platform, and can even be MMORPGs. My fave multiplayer games are those which give me a laugh with my mates, and more importantly, don't cause rivalry, which Mario Party is notorious for lol
My faves are:

Mario Kart 64 - I usually play as Bowser cos I love his character, and this game in 4 player is great. The weapons are hilarious and the battle arenas are really clever
Goldeneye 007 - even though my brother always plays as Trevelyan so I have to shoot "Boromir" pfbbt
SSBM: the best multiplayer beat-em-up cos it is so unique!
Pokemon: battles are challenging and there's a real incentive to win :)
Timesplitters: Similar to Goldeneye and with a huge range of characters
Mario Tennis: fun to play 4-player doubles with this, and it doesn't get boring quickly

I'd definitley agree with Mario Tennis, Goldeneye and Mario Kart. Super Smash Brothers Melee is amazing in multiplayer and I also like WWF No Mercy and Pro Evolution Soccer 2.

I've never tried WWF No Mercy or Pro Evolution Soccer. :huh:
Mario Party would be on my list, but I find that it gets far too competitive, especially with the stealing stars and coins, and my brother always storms off with a stress (what's new there)lol

Well i tend to lean on the RPG side of games, Favourite Multiplayer Games are:
Starcraft Broodwar
Diablo II Lord Of Destruction
MotorCross Madness II
Icewind Dale II
C&C Red Alert II
C&CGenerals
They have been my favourite Multiplayer games

Medal of Honor Allied Assult, Spearhead
Battlefield 1942 Rod to Rome
Serious Sam II Second Encounter
Unreal Tournament 2003
Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast (Lightsaber duals rok)

Also there are some RTS I really like.
Age of Empires; Age of King, Conquerors is one of the best RTS games out there. even if the graphics aren't up to scratch.

I'm not totally a an RPG fan but Dungon Seige was fun

Oh yeah, how could I forget Age of Empires and Unreal Tournament! *smacks herself round head* I think I was thinking too much about GameCube games lol AOE is AWESOME in multiplayer. Yeah, Morrowind would rock in multiplayer too!

I love Multiplaying games as I can bet my bro...or ..er.. get beaten :D I beat him on games like Pokemon, Gitaroo Man whilst healways wins at games like Tekken 4 and MKDA

On Unreal Tournament my bro is obsessed with playing on the levels with little gravity... he's a bit boring when it comes to that game lol

I think that Gitaroo Man is one of the most underated games on the PS2! Sure the drawings are a bit weird, and U-1 kinda needs to wake up, the music gets stuck in my head all the time, I love the last level and the Master mode is really hard! What am I saying really, SUPER hard! On top of this you get a multiplayer game too! The Official mag here gave it 8 out of 10 but not many people know of it, and know other 8's and lower better!

Oooo one mutiplayer Ilike is ZOE! Gets a little boring after a while though. Oooo no ones agreed how great SSBM is so, go YB! :) I like so many multi players, but I'm not a fan of football games! I don't mind the sport but when my bro puts them on and is Arsenal, again, I kinda loose interest....zzzz. I've heard that in Pikmin 2 there will be a mode where 2 players can play together to use the Pikmin!
