Which teacher do you hate the most from all of your years at school?
I absolutely hate my Sociology teacher pfbbt

April 13th,2003, 05:55 PM
I don't hate any of my teachers. I don't think it's fair to hate somebody when you don't really know them as a person.
True, I don't like some of them, mostly the ones who set loads of homework, such as my Maths teacher, but otherwise, she's quite nice. ;)

lol I hate my Sociology and with good reasons and it IS fair in this case cause all of us at school know her as a person...I only hate her cause she makes it her job to butt into anything that happens in class. and how she threatens to have our parents come over b/c of our test results...which I'd like to point out, that have no affect what so ever on our report cards....verymad pfbbt

Yeah, what does annoy me is that teachers make such a fuss over mock exams, when they don't have any effect on your final grade...that gets really irritating lol
I didn't mean to offend you in any way Mocha... sorry if I did :(
Mocha
April 13th,2003, 06:15 PM
Aww you did not offend me at all  I just thought that you thought that I was mean for saying that about my teacher, so I explained myself :smooch: no bad feelings what so ever ;)
They really should put up a "hug" face, cause I always hug and this "smooch" one is the closest thing to it....:catz: aww look at the cute kitty!! *is in awe*
Bonos-Girl
April 13th,2003, 06:51 PM
there is a hug..its cuddles in colons i think :cuddles:
anyways...the teacher i hate most..well...its probably my old art teacher.....she never had any constructive criticism..the best she could come up with was 'work into it'! lol
i don't really like any of my teachers, theres a nice english teacher (actually 2....weird...) and i kinda like one of our history teachers (unfortunately i hve the one i really dislike this year). He gets stressed really easily and gets really annoyed with our class so not many peopel like him, but i don't really blame him for getting so annoyed, i would if i had my class!! He's really intelligent too...he's really helpful with history essays unlike my teacher this year....grrr! lol

i either really got on with my teachers or really disliked them, my form tutor was the worst, he used to say that i was the source of all evil in our class, i was apparantly the ringleader. lol
i am still in coctact with a couple of teachers, i go to the pub with them and stuff and a few of us used to go to the pub with one after each of our exams. :)
Bonos-Girl
April 13th,2003, 07:35 PM
there's supposed to be a tradition that on the last day of school for the sixth formers they all go down the pub with teachers..i seriously cannot see that happening though! lol
if it does happen though hopefully the teachers won't care that i won't be 18 at that point.....lol
I'm the ringleader for most stuff...never ourtright rude to teachers but sometimes almost! lol
in yr 8 i had a thing with paper aeroplanes and seeing how many i could throw at a teacher before they noticed...we had this one teacher and i could throw them at the board an dher head for the entire lesson and she still wouldn't notice.....
Bawax
April 13th,2003, 07:42 PM
i used to do a similar thing but i'd go out of my way to buy polo's even though i didn't eat then to throw at teachers, one of my mates went a step further, he used other peoples pens. lol
Bonos-Girl
April 13th,2003, 07:49 PM
i flick pencils at teachers! lol its really fun!
last year we had a filing cabinet in our form room and ai used to run into it...erm...for no reason at all....weird!
Catz
April 13th,2003, 08:00 PM
i am very happy to say that ive never run into any of my teachers since school........in or out of the car ;)............not that i took much notice of them while i was at school..........lol i pretty much did whatever i wanted at school........they never bothered me much.........oh some tried, but catz are very good at ignoring things ;) so they generally went away eventually lol

i hate by chem teacher, he loves making a fool out of me in class... he absolutely LOVES IT... i'm sure he's a very nice man out side of school but in school i just want to kill him! well not kill him but you catch my drift
also my history teacher from last year made my life miserable... she was this chain smoking harpy you was the biggest stickler about following the rules... we're not allowed to have drinks in school out side the cafeteria and if she sees you with one she will literaly chase you down the hall... i am dead serious, i've had to escape her more than once lol

Well I have to say that I love the teachers that everyone hates with passion... not all tho... I hate stupid people and stupid teachers lead in that category.... just the ones who can stress my classmates... heehee the ones who do this and that not because it's in the rules of education (god I hate those) but because that's in their rules... and they usually give better marks because they have given you another lesson... at least they are fair as they understand it

Wow! I'm stunned. My husband and I are BOTH teachers. It would hurt to get run over by a car. Strangely it hurts to read some of these posts. As Bono says...it's all about the love. No matter what subject is taught, if the teacher shows they care for their students, they will earn the respect and hard work of the class. Mirkgirl seems to get that....reason for hope

i love (not literally..ewwww) the teachers that most peopel hate too...like my technology teacher...everyone hates him cos hes really sarcastic..but he's cool.
my chemistry teacher is proud of the fact that he made 14 yr old boys cry at his previous job....weird! lol

at this point in my life, i only try to remember the ones who had a positive affect
there are 3 of them that stand out
in the 5th grade, i did really bad on my yearly tests in math
and no one could figure out why
turned out previously for 2 years in a row i'd had a teacher who just gave me good grades but didn't worry if i was learning the material.
mrs hilton worked with me every day after school and through my free period for 2 years to bring me up to speed
i thought i was math retarded and now i run a business and do my own accounting, imagine that.
in high school, my spanish teacher was the only person who realized i was being abused at home. she took me under her wing and talked with me personally every day building up my self esteem
and finally my history teacher
i got him two years in a row
he gave me such a love for history and the desire to understand the past so we can learn from it
of course there are ****ty teachers, you can find a ****ty person anywhere if you look hard enough
but most teachers love kids and are there to be a part of helping them on their way
jen is one of those kind of teachers. it is one of the most important jobs in our society and teachers are not given enough respect for what they have chosen to do!

Dearest Dawn,
That's the best thing you ever did for me! I'm crying - again.
Next to parents & friends, teachers can have the biggest impact on everyone in school. It makes me so mad that plenty are just plain mean. Bored and intelligent students naturally try their humor and disrespect on the "authority" in the room, but adults should be able to handle that with firm compassion and returned humor. Hopefully there are more of us who make connections. JD gets emails and visits from graduated students, and the dude teaches Latin! (Yuck!)
I know everyone needs to vent about real pain. And I also need to hear success stories like Dawn told. How 'bout we make it a mix?

This is what I wrote in some one's yearbook last year concerning my AP U.S. History teacher..... (the whole message was a bit bitter and angry, not just this part...)
"I guess I should say that APUSH was fun, although every minute of it there was a living Hell and [the teacher] was the devil himself."
This yearbook message was in response to the generic messages that people leave, like 'History was fun. Have a great summer.' I hate those, so I just told the truth.... it just happened that I didn't care too much for the teacher....
But anyway, I usually don't hate teachers... have little respect for them and dislike them? Yes. But hate them? No.
I once had a dream with a teacher that I didn't particularlly like. We were careening down an elevator shoot to our deaths. She was pregnant at the time, and right before we hit the floor, I put my hand on her stomach and sorrowfully said, 'Congratulations'. I thought the dream was very creepy, and tried not to be so critical of her after that.....

Really? lol, I guess the head of the school is the same as the Principel (sp?) and the deputy is like the second highest n the school. ;)

Hmmm a teach I loved? Well there have been a few good teachers that I've had so far....*thinks of some* Well I used to love my Geography teacher that taught me last year, she was very strict but was also very very nice and friendly...
She was supposed to teach my class this year, but they made her teach my little sister's class (note: my sister is in 4th grade)
I went to pick my little sister from class a few months ago, and when I saw my teacher I was in shock...did you know that when she saw me and heard me say "Hello teacher (name here)" that she actually walked to me in the middle of the lesson and welcomed me? We had a little chat, and I told her that it sucked that she couldn't teach up this year.....
Hope that was good enough for you, Ludibunda ;) And don't worry, I never give my teachers a bad time  I'm not a teacher's pet either, it's just that I sort of respect them because they are older and wiser than I am and I think that they should get some respect b/c of that....except for that Sociology teacher *shuddders*

i didn't like my textiles teacher much, she threw me out of her class because i kept distracting people.
ok i was the only boy in the class and i was kind of hormonal and constantly trying to chat someone up, even the teacher, i think that was the last straw.
i ended up doing photography after i got booted out of that class and i spent most of my time on the school feild watching the girls i knew playing sports. come to think of it, i think i might have been one of them problem children. lol

awww @ Bawax
lol I wish I was in an all BOYS school, that would be so cool! I'd be just like you, except that the boys would be the ones trying to chat me up instead of me doing it ;) lol lol
I bet you've grown up to appreciate women  we need some of you guys in this world ;)

you tried to chat up the teacher?! lol i really hope she wasn't one of those 60 year old about to retire ones! lol
we don't gte to do textiles or photography...we're supposedly a tech college but we get a choice of 3 technologies and we have the worst computers, and theres only about 50 for the entire school!! lol

lol @ TRB...your story remind me of that movie that came out a few years ago with that girl from Dawson's Creek who had a History teacher that was a Saint and tried to flunk the girl from Dawson's Creek. So her and her bestfriend and the guy she has a crush on go over to that teacher's house and somehow end up making a hostage of her in her own home lol lol lol
Hmm wasn't it called "Teaching Mrs.Tingles" or something like that?

Well i dont really *hate* any teachers, all of them love me not sure why though as i am not exactly an angel, but i respect the teachers and in time they respect me.
But i think the main reason they like me is because i am one of the few people who is brave enough to have a joke with the teacher and say stuff to em no one else would darem, so i guess i sort of have a freindship with all my Teachers(get better marks that way);).

I joke about with my teachers but sometimes they say I go too far, which is annoying, what really gets me is that the teachers are always saying I have to be nicer

i'm glad to say that it wasn't one approaching retirement, she was about late 20's i think, she was gorgeous, i think she was the only teacher i had that i fancied.
oh well her loss, she was _____ that close to getting her hands on me, she'll have to wait for the next young hot thing to go into her class, it could be some time before she gets one just like me. ;) lol
