Movie Posters

On this site in the Fellowship of the Ring part of the Photo Gallery under the pictures of Sam... The 3rd picture is the Sam and Frodo movie poster. Does anyone possibly know where i could find it? ...or if you know of any other good LotR posters???

oooo...posters are...or at least WERE my authority! (My walls couldn't provide the space...so my ceiling had to chip in! lol) I am distressed to hear of a FOTR poster i don't own! :o

To give you some tips HobbitFriend on which ones to get if you are trying to limit the choice (like i SHOULD have done!) then IMHO these are the ones to purchase......

NUMBER ONE: The MUST HAVE of the LOTR poster world is the one of the map of ME with the film characters all around in a border. Not only does this provide some nice pics of our fav stars, but it also brings to life the map and makes stuff easy to look at/study/glance at when reading... :thumbs:

NUMBER TWO: The classic... Frodo looking at the ring in his hand/ Frodo looking at you with the ring in his hand. They are basically the same, it just depends on whether you want Elijah's gorgeous eyes staring back at you all day (no prizes for guessing which one i bought! :embarras: ) Both posters are pretty dark and sinister and what i mentioned above is really all their is to them. Mine says at the bottom "One Ring To Rule Them All" in gold. Nice touch.

NUMBER THREE: The poster that was used for many FOTR premiers (in Japan for example...i think) where you have Frodo in the middle with the writing on the ring projected onto his cape...and the rest of the fellowship, plus arwen, galadriel and the nasgul are positioned nicely around him. It's composition's great and it's also a nice one to have if you like to see a bit more than Elijah (good one of leggy)! :naughty: lol

hehe thanks... yah my idea was to limit the posters to a few good ones. ...not enough room in my room - darn! :boohoo: but thanks again and any ideas of what stores carry the posters? i've already checked out some music stores (such as fye and Strawberries) but i've pretty much just begun poster hunting :p

I dunno how much help MY stores suggestions would be. I dunno if the same stores are around where you are. For me, HMV, Virgin, Athena...they all have good selections. Athena's more expensive, then Virgin, and HMV's the cheapest. ;)
