Ooh, I would love to own Hadhafang (Elrond/Arwen's sword), I think that this one company...Blades by Brown, or something, actually makes it. And I would kill for Eowyn's sword! (Heh, heh, not really KILL...how would I be able to, without any swords?)

Alatar

Do you know who is manufacturing the ring??

And Galadriel i think the necklace is quite nice and would look great on anygirl:thumbs: as for the ring i think if there was a replica of that released it would be quite exspensive becuase of its fine features

I've seen a replica of the Shards of Narsil, as I mentioned in another thread. It's darn cool! I don't mind owning that one. It's really in... well... shards... separate pieces...

I'd like to own a replica of Legolas' Lothlorien bow... The news on the main page mentioned that Legolas' bow was being sold somewhere.

The pieces are quite cool but I would probably just lose them lol
I would really like to own Legolas'Lothlorienbow or Théodens' sword. Gimli's axe would be cool too :p

Legolas's White Knives! I plan to buy a pair by United/Cutlery by Brown when they get the rights to produce them this year. Arms of Valor are currently doing a replica, but they are not exact to the filigree Elvish design (due to copyrights). I love Arwen's pendant and Galadriel's crown. I own an Elvish Broach, seen on all the Fellowship and their capes....the merchandise is quite costly, but worth it. Arwen's sword would be a close second for purchasing in the future.

Oooh! An elvish brooch is cool! Eorl, did you check out the Gimli's Axe thread? Since you said gimli's axe would be cool...

I'm not entirely sure, but I do have a picture of it; it's silver with an eye in the middle! It can be seen in the 'Forbidden Planet' catologue, which is perfect for nerdy people like me.lol

This place is listed on the WoTR Links page and actually has the cheapest price I've seen for Glamdring:
http://www.lordoftheringscatalog.com/

So yes, this would be my choice: http://www.lordoftheringscatalog.com/L6002_product.html

And someone mentioned these two, they look pretty nice:

What I'd really like to have is the Bow Galadriel gave to Legolas. Now that would be cool!

My most-wanted LOTR replica would be Saruman's staff.

Since Noble Collection is already making Gandalf's staff, I may eventually get my wish!

I've always wanted a sword ever since I first read LOTR. Anduril or Glamdring would be my choice. :)

Thorin
October 10th,2003, 05:01 PM
Glamdring is my favorite of the replicas.

From a collector's standpoint though I bet that Anduril is going to increase the most in value.

The Shards of Narsil is limited edition but it isn't that popular. Anduril on the other hand is extremely popular and neither the actual sword, nor the movie it is in, is out yet.

IMHO, Anduril was the most significant weapon in LOTR, (besides Sting, of course), even though Aragorn had a really bad habit of announcing that it used to be broken every few pages. :P

I agree with Thorin. Of all the replicas, Glamdring is definately my favourite. It has such a beautiful design. The way they were able to incorporate the slightly leafed blade of the elves into a hand and a half sword was superb! It's the only one I own so far, but it was my favourite so I got it first, go figure. I know it sounds wierd, but it just feels right when I'm wielding it.

I think my next purchase will Legolas's White Knives though. The filigree work is fantastic.

Boromir's sword and Sauron's helmet would be the ultimate for me.

Who did you order through that pushed the date back? We still have a couple Anduril's left but they should be gone by the end of the week.

I ordered my Andúril at mithril armoury (http://www.mithrilarmoury.com) at very cheap conditions

Cheap indeed.

Actually at this point I'd wonder if you're going to get yours at all. I just heard from UC that the third and final shipment of Anduril is sold out.

If this place didn't pre-order enough from the manufacturer to cover their orders they may not be able to catch up.

My bro gave me sting for my birthday, it looks very convincing... from what he told me it's by far the nicest of the replicas that are out there most of the others look a bit fake.

I have the Lothlorien 2nd Edition bow, which is as close a replica I can find of Legolas's bow of the Galadhrim. It shoots awesome too! Very quiet and quick.

I own Éowyn´s headdress, necklace and earrings, Arwen´s Evenstar, Galadriel´s Nenya all from the Noble Collection.

I also have a hand made white dress of Éowyn in wool, and the red-black dress of Arwen. I also have several Celtic Swords.

I have several cheap copies of the One Ring around from the games! ;)

With Éowyn´s Jewelry: It is very delicate, the stones may fall out if in rough play or gold chain may break. The head dress has fragile pistons on the flowers that are easy to break.

I think the Evenstar and Nenya are fine in silver, but I had to keep them clean to not lose their luster!

Lucky! I wish I had that stuff... :)

Does anyone have any info about when they're releasing Eowyn's sword? I know they're planning on making it, but I haven't heard anything new.

Wow, I'd love to have half that stuff, but I can't. Mainly because I don't have any money. ~_^ I really liked the elven brooch though, and some of the swords are nice too. I'd like a sword, but I wouldn't know what to do with it. In all honesty, I'd probably hang it up for a while, feel bad for not doing anything with it, and end up using it to cut birthday cake or something. ~_^

I would really like to get my hands on a full Uruk-hai armor + helmet. Maybe also the armor that the Gondor Citadel guards wear. And the witch-kings helmet & sword. Boromirs sword is also quite nice.

Maybe also Sting. Ive held a replica of it once (but i did not buy it. I bought a nazgul sword instead) And Sting is a really cool sword. The handle is really smooth and the blade is beautiful with the elven words on it.

Éowyn's sword
[UC1423] $169.99

This item is now on Pre-order/backorder. If you order now your card will NOT be charged and you will get one as soon as they become available.
Éowyn's sword

United Cutlery has confirmed that The Sword of Éowyn will be made.It should be out sometime late in 2004 or even early 2005. This Rohirrim blade is due to be a big favorite in the next and final film "The Return of the King". For it is this weapon that Éowyn, white Lady of Rohan, along with the aid of Merry, uses to slay the Witchking and his steed. "Éowyn leapt up and took her sword. With one last swoop, she drove her sword between crown and mantel, as his great shoulders bowed before her. Éowyn's sword broke as well, and the crown rolled onto the ground. The Nazgûl shrieked and cried his harsh voice shuddering air. It faded into a shrill wailing, passing with the wind, a voice bodiless and thin that died."
This product will be in stock on Tuesday 30 November, 2004.

There will also be Boromir´s Sword at:

Aww, man! You guys are so lucky! I wish I had money to buy stuff...maybe I should get a job, but I'm still in high school...oh well, I'll get a job anyway. It's worth it for one of those swords! :battle:

Wait, is it $169 in US dollars?! That's kind of cheap, then.

Thanks for the link! I just went there and am glad to see a release date. I just preordered the Sauron gauntlet and helm fromSuperBlades (http://superblades.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=60_45&osCsid=ae6d67c7dce3283c0225fa256710233a). Now I just hope that they've preordered enough so I don't miss out. I bought the limited edition Anduril on e-bay early last year and am kicking myself for not ordering it like I could have ! I also have the one ring in sterling silver with the goldish writing, and I do wear it every day! I want to get Nenya or the Withking ring, if ever it is released. I also want the Eowyn and Boromir sword, I know Boromir's is supposed to be limited edition - I really wish they'd add authentic autographs from the actors with the weapons - can you imagine a certificate of authenticity with an autograph from Sean Bean!! I've really gotten into the trading cards and Sideshow too - if only I had more money, or I should just focus on one - but there's so much great stuff out there!

I currently have Glamdring ($75 on ebay! Woohoo!) and the Evenstar. The things I would love to have but I have never seen anywhere are the daggers of the Noldarin that Galadriel gives to Merry and Pippin in Lothlorien...someone should really make those...
