Hi all, I just registered.

Man, was hard to decide what name to use. But I found a site that gave sindarin translations of first names! (they take the meaning of the name and put together the name from sindarin words).

So my username is my first name, Jonathan, in sindarin.

K, I should get to my homework, but just wanted to get my post count from 0 to 1 and introduce myself.

Er... rune... Yoiu seem to have mixed up the names Eruanion and Eorl. Not that it really maters.'I'm sure Eruanion don't minds and neither do I and everybody makes mistakes... this is a rather small one compared to some of my mistakes lol. Wow, Rune, you're mixed up! My name is Eruanion, not Eorl. Quite alright though.

The site is www.elvish.org/elm/names.html, you need to go to the bottom to get to the links to the actual list. I looked at the page again, and actually the names are Quenya. The site exlains how they get from a name to its Quenya equivalent.

Eruanion, perhaps I am mixed up, but I corrected myself in the statement back to Eorl the Young. Yes, you were the one who offered the Sindarin site name (and now, it is Quenya-) see Page 1. Thank you for the site name - I will definitely check them out. My last two writings were to Eorl, not to you...and the mix-up began, as I explained, in asking Eorl about the site, when I should of used your Name. Your posting was at the very top and I should of looked more closely. Again, my apologies.
