Folks we are looking for people with an interest in Tolkien's many languages.
As you might know we are starting work on a guide of sorts. As such we require people with a good understanding of one or more of his languages and//or writing modes.
If you are interested please contact Algamesh at this address:
algamesh@tvscable.com
Note as with all the work on War of the Ring it is voluntary and the only pay is the satisfaction from a job well done and being involved in an exciting project.
Also note that this is a long term project and will require some diffiicult work.
Thanks
Fatty

Hello everyone. I thought I would post a list of all the jobs we need to fill for the language section of this this guide project. I only listed here the jobs that have not been filled yet.
List of jobs (in no kind of order)
– Write Sindarin history
– Write Quenya history
– Write the histories of Dwarvish, Adûnaic, Rohiric, Black Speach, Orkish, Hobbitish, Entish etc.
– Find the word history and etymology of Old Norse names in M.E.
– Compile a complete Quenya word list from reliable sources.
– Compile a Quenya pronunciation guide.
– We need someone who is good with the Tengwar in all of it's forms, and who can write a history of it's use.
– Someone who is good with the Cirth, both Elvish and Dwarvish forms, and who can write a history of its use.
– Is there anyone out there who knows ANYTHING about Orkish, Dwarvish and the Black Speach? We need word lists made up (as small as they may be).
More jobs may become available later.
If you are intersted in one or more of these, or need more information, please let me know. You can PM me, or send me an e-mail (KBinks@aol.com). If you know of anyone else who may be intersted in helping out, please direct them here! We really need all the help we can get.
Thanks,
~ Wil

Wilwarin, I emailed you, but just in case, I'd like to express interest in writing the history of Quenya. Thanks.

If help is still needed, I'd be willing to help with anything to do with Quenya and/or Tengwar.

Hey that's really great, Manalinya! We could always use more help. Why don't you send me a PM and tell me about your experiance a bit, and exactly how much you'd be willing to do. Then we can work something out.
While I'm on the subject, folks. I really need more people to help with Sindarin. I need someone to write the Sindarin history and also help with compiling a Sindarin word list with word etymologies. If there is anyone here who is pretty good at Sindarin and would be willing to devote some time to this, PLEASE contact me! I really need the help! Thanks.
