Hey all, just thought I'd let you know that I'm gonna be gone next week. I'm going on a school trip to Santa Fe with Habitat for Humanity. Anyway, save me a seat here, K?

Well, I'll only be gone for a week, so I doubt I'll be purged. Just wanted you guys to know that I didn't up and abandon y'all!
Thanks for all the well-wishes, now it's time for me to pack and go to bed! (I gotta be at the airport at 4:15 tomorrow... *bleh*)

I'm back! *plops down in his chair*
The trip was great, way better than I expected in fact! We basically worked on two houses - built a retaining wall at one, and poured concrete steps at the other along with a whole bunch of miscellaneous things (I personally worked on installing cabinets - tedious work but very rewarding... except for when we had to tear out an entire row because they weren't positioned right!) We also got a lot of time to explore Santa Fe, which was cool, but obviously most of our time was taken up by building. I''ll see if I can get some pics uploaded to the photo forum!
So yeah, it was really fun, but I gotta say that it's great to be back!
