WONDERFUL! Mocha has opened up his own, new place! Anything with delicious drinks and tasty tid-bits to satisfy the palette! Love the smell of all the goodies in here! (sniff sniff...) Congratulations on your new place!!!

Mocha, take your time, but when you can get to it, I would like to order a hot, Mocha Latte with cinnamon, and one of those slices of Lembas bread (actually, the cheese cake looks better....!)

Have you guys noticed that Tolkien and PJ have a loving for cats? here are the reasons I found that support my theory, any replies would be greatly welcomed...


1. PJ made Sauron's "eye" like a cat's eye in the dark.
2. The Nazgul's make these screeching sounds that greatly resemble a cat's when it's made.
3.Gollum's "Gollum, Gollum"ish cough like sound was made up after Andy heard that sound from his cat when it was coughing furballs.

I've had a lot of kitties through out my life, but the one I remember the most was the last kitty I had...It was a cute Persian kitty with light brown fur and grass-colored eyes. I bought it when it was about 2 months old, but it died a few months later...I didn't know why it died so we took it to the Vet so that he'd slice it up and tell us the cause of it's death, it later turned out that the maid used to feed the kitty cold food which it's little tummy couldn't handle which caused it's death mecry mecry mecry I miss Fluffy, it was so cute and oh so fluffy....

Mom won't buy me a cat, says that it isn't healthy for my little 4-year-old brother and I think she's had it with all of the mess kitties make with all of their litterbox changing and vet visits and so on :mmmm:
If I ever get to have a kitty in the future, I'd make sure to give it a Tolkinish name :thumbs: it would be more special than "Fluffy" lol roflmao

I'm sorry to hear about Fluffy, Mocha, it's a sad story. :( I had a cat named Oliver, and he died when he was 6 years old. The thing was, that he got hit by a car, and came home in the morning after I had already gone to school, but neither my mum, nor my sister took a good enough look at him to see he was really hurt, they just though 'ah, well, he's been in a fight, he'll be alright' and went on their way. (Still haven't quite forgiven them for that.) When I got home in the evening, I saw his jaw was broken. And the poor fellow had been in pain the entire day. We took him to the vet that evening after I started a whole riot, but he died there during the night. mecry

Well I don't know whether Tolkien liked them or not... but knowing the cats of queen Beruthiel are the only cats in his work (they helped her to keep track of everything happening in Gondor... read more here (http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/b/beruthiel.html)

btw not related to the subject, do you know that we (in Bulgaria) think it bad luck if a black cat crosses your way... and I know the rest of the world (England if I'm not mistaken) thinks it;s good luck... Ugh... Geography... *shivers* I don't think I ever had as much trouble with anything than I did with geography (well, and math and chemistry...lol). And still to this day I don't know why...

It was Paper 3, which is a paper where you have to use your knowledge of fieldwork activites (e.g. sampling techniques). You get a question on a place you've never been to with some theory questions at the end, and the other question is about the actual fieldwork you carried out, with reference to place names, etc.
The second question was really badly worded, though. It's so annoying when you're not allowed to ask what the question means - my friend got really confused too. I'll just have to hope I did the right thing - fingers crossed! lol
The exam system seems to be really messed up atm - I got 28 more marks in my English Lit exam when I had it remarked, that's almost a whole grade! :o
