Rate That Guy

I thought of this game because many users were saying that they make up lists of cute guys. I know that my best friend, WaterBubbleElf do this all the time with guys at school, at parties, or famous people. Since everyone here doesn't go to the same school, the game wouldn't work with those guys. it's really simple but I get enjoyment out of it when I am bored.
THE RULES:

1. To rate the guy that is up at that time just type a number from 1-10 (please keep the numbers whole or half and inbetween 1-10. It makes things easier)

2.Tell us why you rated that guy what you did (dont write "because he's hot" or "because he's a loser")

3. The game continues with a guy until the chatting/bickering has died down and it seams like everyone rated him.

4. Somebody then can throw a new guy up for rating. *It really doesnt matter who does it cause all will get a chance.*
*it depends on how many people want to play, but I am thinking it will usually be about 2 or 3 days on each guy depending on all the chatting going on...

I give Josh an 8, cause IMO he's mid-high on the hot scale.. His only real draw back is that he's younger then me, and just a bit too tall... I don't want to risk whiplash ever time I look at someone....;) lol

I give him 9-9.5. For one reason, he's just plain good looking, but for another, he's got a sense of humor and has a good head on his shoulders....what do you think?

I don't really like Mel Gibson. I don't find him attractive at all. And he annoys me. He's just... annoying. I wouldn't know about his sense of humour, as I tend to avoid watching him as much as I can. He's done a couple of good roles though, which should also count of course. So I give him a 4.

Hey, should we calculate what was the average rating a guy got once we move to the next one? You know, to see who's hot and who's not... ;) I think that would be fun. :grin:

I definitely prefer young Mel to old Mel (minus the mullet ;) ). His roles in his younger years appeal to me so much more than his more recent endeavors. He still has his beautiful eyes though....

And about his 'bad principles'- isn't his wife an actress (and is therefore not stuck in the house?)? And isn't he known for his great relationship with his children? I could have sworn that I read about this somewhere....

This may sound really stupid, but Heath could easily be an elf. He has that lovely elven look to him. You know what I mean? He kinda looks like Legolas/Orlando to me. Anyway...Heath has a great smile, and did an excellent job in "The Patriot", so I give him a solid 8-8.5.

Although he can't compare to River, I think good looks did run in the family. He has unbelievably awesome acting skills (which is a major plus) and is unbelievably attractive (the lip thing doesn't bother me either). Sure, he sometimes does portray such incredibly creepy characters (Gladiator, 8MM, To Die For), but I can forgive him that!!

Plus, I think it is cute that, when he was younger, he went by Leaf (because his siblings had nature names- River and Rain (I think).... he just wanted to be like his siblings..... aww.....).

I give Joaquin/Leaf a 9.

Nessa- I've seen parts of it. The whole movie was on the creepy side, so I had to turn it to preserve my sanity. The chipper, lovely weather woman, who seduces teenage boys to kill her husband..... kinda weird, if you ask me. Then Joaquin's character is creepy, in that overly jealous-obssessive way. Yeah, it took me a while to figure out that that was actually Joaquin- he just looked so different.

Probably his most recognizable role was in either Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (he played the young Indiana) or Stand By Me (he played Chris). He also had a couple of smaller roles (like in My Own Private Idaho and The Mosquito Coast).

I think he died in the early 90s (1992 perhaps?) of a drug overdose. I was watching a E! special on him, and they aired the phone call made to the police. Joaquin called 911- it was weird hearing him talk.... it was so sad....

He think he is definately better looking than his brother.....

Well, Matt Damon is an awesome actor, but I think he is less versatile than Joaquin. He always ends up playing an arrogant, punk kid (a very sexy, charming, arrogant, punk kid, but an arrogant, punk kid nonetheless).

As for looks, Matt may have a slight edge over Joaquin. Sure, he's a bit shorter, but he's more compact (not saying that he's fat).... I can't really explain it.... argh.....

And as for brains.... it just seems to me that Matt is a bit too right-brained (creative) for me.... He's an award winning writer and what not.... I just don't think I'd be able to hold a decent conversation with him..... that probably doesn't make much sense either, but at least I know what I'm talking about.

However, the thing with Jim Carey is, in my opinion, that he's capable of much more than he shows in movies like Dumb and Dumber. He really is a good actor (not nearly as good as Benicio, but hey, very few people are... lol). So if you appreciate that, he's your man. On the other hand, lots of people seem to think he's hilarious. If you appreciate that, he's your man. I guess that would explain the high numbers.

Hmmm...Keanu Reeves. Decent looking, but a bit skinny for my tastes. He's quite the actor though, excelling in roles ranging from the Matrix, to Bill and Ted, to Little Buddha, to Speed, which is admirable. Plus, he donated a part of his Matirx:Reloaded salary back to the project, so he's got that selfless non-Hollywood quality to him. Plus, he's a musician (used to have a band, didn't he?) Oh dear, I seem to be the only one who thinks Keanu is an awful actor....... imho he's only good in his more famous roles because he's perfectly suited for them: The Matrix: looked surprised but otherwise blank. My closest and best friends are the ones that will be blunt with me and let me know stuff like that, including the stuff not related to how I look, ya know?

Regarding things that are on topic, I would agree with you about the simplicity of his roles, if not for Speed. A lot of the stuff he's been in seem to require that drab, behaving vs. acting kinda thing, but the guy has personality when he wants it, ya know?

If I knew more about the man, I would give a better breakdown, but based solely on looks and taking into account his age, I'll give him a 7.76. THe only way I can remember his hair is all greased back like in Schindler's list...blech! But, the man does pull off a well taylored suit well, I'll give ya that!

Alrighty...how about a change of pace? I've been asked to post a new fella...so here goes: our new guy is Prince William, and let me be the first to say a "happy 21st belated birthday" to the Prince. ;)

Anyway...it goes without saying that he is a handsome fella: tall blonde, and blue-eyed; but he also has a good head on his shoulders and from all I can tell is an all around nice guy. So there he is....what do you guys think?
