An OOC thread is for the purpose of posting profiles. The RP mods (Firith Evenstar and I) prefer that anyone RPing in an RP has posted a character profile.

this is the profile I wrote to describe my character in the fanfics I'm writing, and it's quite long.... obviously :)

NAME: Authwen Randirel (other possibilities: Adara A R Elonan, Larra/ Kyllarra Unhisiel)
GENDER: Female
AVAILABILITY: Not. She was bound to Gil-galad who died a year after they were married.
RACE: High Elf.
PARENTS: Elrond and Celebrían (note: she is NOT Arwen)
AGE: 3,154 years. Authwen was born on September the 1st
EYES: dark blue (same as Celebrían’s)
HAIR: Chestnut Brown (same color and texture as Elrond's)
CLOTHING: Traveling garb, changes occasionally, always wears green cloak of Mirkwood given to her by Legolas
PERSONALITY: Extremely reserved, talkative towards her few lifelong friends, stealthy, mysterious, queenly
WEAPONS: One Noldor Curved Long Sword made for her husband (blade - 30") Two Noldorian daggers (blades: 16", 18") Two Noldorian long swords (thin, long wooden hilts, with equally long samurai-type blades) One Noldorian Long Bow & Arrows.
SKILL WITH SAID WEAPONS: Lethal, Mastered her teachers in all
SKIN COLOR: Lightly tanned, though extremely fair complexion in the winter
BODY BUILD: Average height, slim, and muscular...
SCARS: One, down the left/middle of her back where she was stabbed by an orc during the Battle of the Last Alliance
JEWELRY: A bracelet, intricate in design, which incorporates a saphire jewel at the center of the back of her hand that glows when she has strong emotions or is using her magick. A woven crown that sits on the back of her head, made of gold, silver and mithril.
BIOGRAPHY: Authwen is a healer with skills surpassing that of Elrond and Thranduil. Master of all weaponry, she is deadly with anything she picks up. After the Battle of the Last Alliance, she wandered Middle Earth and dabbled in evil doing. She worked as an assassin for the Necromancer (Later known as Sauron) who used her. Then, she did freelance work for whomever wanted her. Later, she took a teaching position at Elrond’s School of Healing and Weaponry, as the Master Weapons teacher. After the War of the Ring, she took up the crown that she had never worn, and stayed in Middle Earth until the last of the Elves left their homes.
MAGICKAL ABILITIES: very powerful, equal to a wizard in her prime. Her bracelet gives off a bright light when she uses her magick. She does not like to delve too deep into magic, for she is somewhat afraid of what she could become/do if she did.
SIDE: good, though it sometimes doesn’t seem that way.

Name: Tirithel

Age: 260 years old- still rather young for an elf

Race: Half Vanyar, half Noldor. (She was born in Tirion after the Return of the Noldor from Middle Earth). No notable lineage, just an everyday, ordinary elf.

Appearance: Dark brown, almost black hair, green eyes, pointy ears! 5'10" and somewhat muscular. Wears Chocolate-brown leather pants, white shirt and a long corset-style vest over top that extends halfway to her knees. Grey cloak, black boots, brown leather gauntlets given to her by her grandfather before she journeyed to ME.

Weapons: None

Personality Notes: Having been born in Valinor, she has never been to Middle Earth before and feels somewhat out of place. Whereas everyone else on this trip seems to be coming home, she is on a mission to lands completely unknown to her, for a reason she cannot figure. She is not a warrior by trade, nor a sorceress, nor a healer. She was bid to come by Gandalf- he wouldn't say why, just another one of his insightful decisions. Her days in Tirion were happily spent in libraries and galleries, or roaming about the coasts and swimming in the sea. Mostly she is known for her singing ability and artistic talent, and she can't figure out why Gandalf would want a minstrel or a painter on a quest bound for death.

General Appearance: Brown eyes, black hair, 6' 3", 200 lbs
Clothing: Lorien cloak, leather bracers, black boots, mithril mail (gift for helping dwarves in Goblin War)
Personality: Serious, hardly ever cracks jokes, not exceedingly kind, likes animals.
Weapons: Lorien Longbow & arrows, 2 Elven short swords, 2 elven knives, 4 elven daggers. (All weapons made in Gondolin unless otherwise noted)
Skill with weapons: Extremely advanced. One of the best swordsmen and marksmen to live in Middle-Earth.
Skin Color: Pale
Body build: Slightly muscular, tall
Jewelry: Necklace and ring made by the smiths of Hollin.
Bio: Son of Silvan Noble in Gondolin before its fall. Lost parents during the fall. Went to live with Gil-Galad as a Leutinant fighting Morgoth. Removed to Lorien before Beleriad was laid waste. In Lorien rose to prominence as a Captain in the Army. Participated in the Battle of Dagorlad. After Sauron's "fall" Halindir became a ranger a trained many in the old Northern Kingdom.
Code of Honour: Allways respect who you are fighting because you may over estimate yourself.

Here's my profile. it's not as extensive as the other ones, but it'll do.

name: Ithilraen (wandering moon)
age: around 1513. Exact birthdate unknown. found as a baby in the river Loudwater on Mid-summer's eve.
race: eldar. exact kind unknown. some have told her she was of the dark eldar.
description: 5'7" with pin-straight black hair (worn high-elf fashion) and dark green eyes. light build.
clothing: white elven tunic with a black over tunic. black leggings and boots, black belt with silver buckle in shape of wings.
weapons: ebony and silver galadhrim bow with quiver. elven short sword, 2 daggers of the numenors, and pair of black leather gauntlets.
personality: quiet. speaks only when desires.
bio: foster daughter of elrond and celebrian. found in the river loudwater as a babe on mid-summer's eve. skilled in herblore, tracking, swordsmanship, and archery. torn between two loves, haldir and legolas.

[Númenórean]

Ok, here's my profile:

NAME: Othelenar
GENDER: male
RACE: Men, distend related to the old Númenóreans
RESIDENCE: Bree, but travels the lands between the Shire and the remainants of Rivendell most of the time
AGE: 31 (rather young for someone raleted to Númenóreans)
APPEARANCE: quite short, but also quite muscular. Blue eyes and dark blond hair. Carries dark green cloak and clothes most of the time.
PERSONALITY: kind altough very sad most of the time, serious, reserve, valiant, hardend by many years in the wild and by many wars.
WEAPONS: short sword, iron bow of Númenor, knife.
FUNCTION: Ranger in service of Aranora, protecting the Northern lands from spies and enemy raids.
PERSONAL NOTES: His father was a Arnorian distend related to the kings. His mother is from the scatered people, related to the old Rohirrim. When he was nine his father died when the old land of Hollin was taken by orcs and his mother died a few years later at the hands of an outlaw. He is now in service as a ranger of the king who hunts down and captures spies of the enemy and helps defend the country against enemy raids.

Well it is about the return of the elves, but yeah i agree that RP's are saturated with them. I guess everyone just wants to have pointy ears these days! lol It's nice to have some character variation once in a while. :)

PS sorry for the drama queen moment in my last post. I had a seizure and just couldn't stop typing. I'm surprised I didn't kill the little hobbit instead of just yelling at him. :battle: roflmao

*OOC: I think this is Elvish for father (emphasis on the "think."! lol) and the reason I use it is because back in Aman they had been close; Gandalf was a good friend of her father, and when her father was not around, Gandalf sort of assumed his place. Blah blah blah, you get the idea...;)

Olorin I agree with EW...I super like this story and don't want to see it end just yet! Especially not because we lack characters or direction or some goofy reason like that... I just spoke with "Gandalf" ;) lol so there's a good opportunity for you to move us around so it be...:grin: Otherwise, I fear it may be just myself and EW and this may turn into one big fanfic! lol

Yah, Nyx, I think you could probably jump in if you want to. No grand entrance necessary unless you find it to be so. :huh: :thumbs: Also, you may find it helpful to read through the rest of the IC thread to get an idea what is going on and where we've been, if you have not done so already.

Name: Wren
Gender: female
Race: human
Residence: anywhere and everywhere, but originally from Cardolan
Age: 29
Appearance: of averate height, but slim and atheletic looking, for a woman, she is fairly muscular. She has green eyes and very long, wavy brown hair. She is fond of wearing bucksin breaches with fringe, and a matching sleveless vest. She wears a green elven cloak given to her by an elf friend. She also wears brown leather boots that have been worn to a comfortable state.
Personality: Stubborn, and foolhardy. She tends to jump into situations without fully thinking them through. She is slow to anger, but quite fierce when her anger has been aroused.
Weapons: Her weapon of choice is the longsword, but she is fairly proficient with her bow, and she keeps a dagger handy, for emergencies, as well using it to gut and clean her kills from hunting. She also has a secret stash of throwing knives.
Bio: Wren was born in the land of Cardolan in the southern region of Arnor. Her mother is a gifted singer and musician a bard really. Her father a Ranger with extensive knowlege of the wilderness, herblore and healing. He is also a very good swordsman and crackshot with a bow. Wren is the only daughter but has five brothers who are there fathers equal all but one who has choosen his mother's path that of the bard. As a young girl her older brother would often delight her with songs which he would sing or play upon his lute. Though Wren enjoys a good song, she is no musician herself. She is quite like her father and four other brothers. Her aim is true and she has learned much in the arts of healing.

She has choosen the life of a Ranger and she travels the lands helping those in need. Whether it be a healing hand or a sword fighting at their side. She is usually not without her faithful mount, Morwinyon meaning glint in the dark.
