Osgliliath Portrayal Drawing

[A! Elbereth]

Because I liked the way Osgliliath was set up (not because I thought it was the perfect choice for the movie), I attempted to draw it in my own portrayal.

It is purposely abstract when it comes to the buildings around, and in the background. It is like that so as to symbolize that the city is in ruin, and that in the moment where the Nazgul comes, everything fades to focus on just the Ring and the Nazgul. It is not perfect like some other's, but I worked hard on it.

Wow, that's really good A! Elbereth. It resembles the movie really good. The fading of Osgiliath is done really well. And I just love the Fell Beast on the Portrayal: it's almost exactly the one in the movie.

That is very good A! Elbereth. You've captured the moment really well. The way the Nazgul is really dark grey against the lighter shades and white of the city, means that although the eye takes in the city what you really focus on is the Nazgul and Frodo.

Wow! That's a really great picture, A! Elbereth. I love the Nazgul, and the shading is great, it makes it really stand out, just like you said it aimed to do. Excellent work! :grin:

Yup, it's a misunderstood scene. Most people just don't like it becouse it's not in the book, but it was a nice scene, and you made a great drawing A! Elbareth. It caught the moment really good :thumbs:
