I think Legolas only wears the blue contacts sometimes in the movie cause on onering.net it talks about how the elves' eyes change to blue or purple when they are angry or something. Plus, there are a lot of times in FOTR and TTT (if you watch closely) when u can see that Orli has brown eyes. ;)

I think they only had Orlando wear the contacts if he was supposed to have closeups.. And then sometimes the camera got closer then they realised, so you can tell when he's not wearing them.. Altho as you've said Anunil, elves eyes do change colors..;)

I much prefer his brown eyes they're lovely. They're really big and expressive. Something i noticed a lot more in POTC. The elves were meant to have sea grey eyes for the most part and the greater part of the elves of middle earth had dark hair, including Legolas (go brunettes!!!!!!)

I saw the Ned Kelly trailer yesterday but orli wasnt in it )or there might possibly be a very brief shot at the beginning) I wasnt overly impressed with Heath Ledger's accent, but never mind.

omgsh today i printed out a few pictures that i was planning to tape on my folders that way i could look at them in school.... but i didn't have enough time to tape them on so i just broght them with me anyway. and my friend was looking through my folder and she fond them and let out this squeal and the teach looked at her and said "what seems to be so distracting over there ladies." and we bothe shook our heads and were like "nothing" and she spent the rest of class looking at them, except she crinkled one of them when she was shoving them in her deskk so the teach wouldn't see. lol

all i know is that Ned Kelly is a 15 over here which is the second highest rating. I dont know what that would be in america i'm afraid. My sister was really pleased coz she just turned 15 this week which means she can go see it without my mum (and poss the cinema) making a fuss :grin:

Well if it gets our second highest rateing then it will be NC-17.. So no one under 17 will be able to see it.. But if they're allowing 15 year olds to see it in England, then I'd say PG-13 is a good guess for here in the states..;)
