Glorfindel by Howe

I found this painting from Nasmith (or at least they said it was Nasmith) on another site and I couldn't find it in the Nasmith gallery here yet (I might have missed it though) so I thought I'd post the link here:

I really like this pic, becouse it painted really well and becouse it's about one of my fave elves and one of my fave stories from the Sil. What do you think of this painting.

No we don't have that piccie in our Gallery, but it is terrific. I love that Balrog! The detail on the wing and the ruff on his neck, and the way Golfindel is a stark contrast to the Balrog in white.

At the bottom of the picture it says it's by John Howe.
